Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere and ambience was ethereal and so relaxing. I didn't even have to tell Cindy that I was experiencing tension in my shoulders because she could see right away. Firstly, I don't think there are enough words to cover the high level of quality care Cindy provided my uncle recently. I am beyond impressed with: ease of services, the access, the spa as a whole and especially the high level of compassion that she exudes. My uncle is elderly, fragile and was in Major Pain and that is why we were seeking out a massage therapist. Cindy, made time to actively listen to what was going on with him and then gave me instructions of how to drive up and park, so that we can keep his walking distance at a minimum. She even met us as soon as I pulled up and assisted him in while I park the car the proper way. Her ambience is relaxing, a literal "time out". She uses essential oils, heated blankets, provides drinks: tea, water etc. My uncle is in a lot less pain, he immediately was able to move more swiftly after the massage to the car. The owners, Cindy Sellers and Lisa O'Dell, just opened recently this spa. Both are previous employees of the now closed Honey Salon on Pacific Ave. Lisa is an esthetician. I've only gone to her for waxing before, but she's excellent. Cindy is a massage therapist and she is the best. It's hard to find a massage therapist that has the perfect mix of skill and personality. Cindy is it! She is very skilled and has great customer service. She really takes care of her clients. Such a great place! I have been here twice and each time I step through the door I immediately feel welcome and calmed by the soothing ambience. Not all massages are created equal but Cindy is amazing. Her empathy and attention to her clients is reflected in her superb massages. She really understands the body and always picks up on my problem areas and addresses them with just the right pressure. Wow! I went to Cyndi for a deep tissue massage. I was in a car accident five years ago when someone slammed into the back of me, I have a compressed nerve in my neck and very little feeling in my right arm. Though massage will unlikely cure such a significant injury, it has certainly brought some healing and an incredible relief! I will definitely be going back! I received a massage from Cyndi and as the other posts indicate, she was very nice. The atmosphere was pleasant with a cute tea area in the waiting room and thoughtful decorations. I thought that the massage itself, however, was mediocre. I told her that I came in for work on my lower back/glutes and in between my shoulder blades. She did work on my shoulder blades but gave very little attention to the other two areas I'd mentioned. Also, the amount of massage oil she used made it feel like her hands just kind of glided over the muscles, never really working into them. I had booked an hour with her and during that time she used warm towels, a sugar scrub (on my back) and multiple stretch and hold positions. I kept waiting for her to really massage areas I'd come in for- to find the spot that was hurting in my lower back and work it out, or to work on the gluteal muscles, but it never happened. I know that stretches can benefit these areas, and the warm towels did feel nice, but to me it felt like she relied more on these other filler things than the massaging itself. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a relaxing experience- warm towels, sugar scrubs, essential oils, etc- you will love this place. (She also finished with an amazing head rub!) But if you're looking for a deep tissue massage that is able to pinpoint the place that hurts and work it out, you might be disappointed. read more

She massages every bone and joint. I had a sore arm and hip, the soreness is now gone. She takes her time and shows that she cares.
