The dinning options are on the 3rd floor and under Midtown is Fresko. The Food at Midtown is okay. The Kiosks on the 3rd floor are okay and are your typical mall offerings, fries, tacos, burgers, and the likes. There are some restaurants and fast food options. TIP 1: Do not skip on Fresko. Make sure to check it out. If you are staying multiple days at the Hilton, you can get some daily staples like bottled waters, snacks, and other things if you've forgotten to pack them TIP 2: The food court area has arondeck chairs and lounge areas to watch sports or movies. Its a great way to relax. The drop off and pick up area can get congested for Taxis and RideShares so make sure you are ready as the pickups come fast and know the car, license plate, and driver. If you are driving, there is valet. This is especially helpful if you are staying at the Hilton. Midtown is not a tourist destination but brand destination and if you're into that, then its there for you.

Because it was a weekday, there was not a lot of foot traffic throughout this place, which was actually a good thing. We noticed tons of shops that we'd find back home in LA, to include high end brands. There were many fine eateries, as well as fast food options on the upper levels of the mall. Since we already had food back at the hotel, we decided to eat something small at Carl's Jr. We shopped at Palacio de Hierro, which is similar to Nordstrom in quality. The place was kept immaculately clean, and the staff throughout the center was very nice and accomodating. After getting done shopping, we hailed an uber to head back to the hotel. I'm glad that we made the time to come here. It's a nice shopping center thats on par with Del Amo Fashion Center in LA's south bay. If you have great taste in fashion, or just need to pick something up for an event, this is a good option in the Guadalajara metro area.

The steak sat on top of a bed of alfalfa sprout, zucchini and mushrooms. The star is of course the mole sauce. In the end, I finished everything including the bread. I was so full that I did not have room for the flan I wanted to try. The servers are all very polite and one spoke good English. I highly recommend this place. You may not get the ambience or mariachi singing live, but instead, you get excellent food and service.

Definitely a "hole in the wall" appearance from the street, but once you get inside you're greeted with the bright Mexican colors, the tasteful restaurant layout and attentive sincere staff. The food was phenomenal! 10/10 for the Tacos de Jicama!! (MUST TRY, over and over again!!) 9/10 Pulpo Loco! The Octopus was cooked to perfection! (Which is not an easy task)...Add the lovely light vegetables, then pair with the tamarind sauce, extremely delicious! Sadly, I wasn't pleased with the risotto. (Fix the risotto and you have 10/10 hands down!) Lastly, absolutely loved that they offer an English menu, traditional Mexican music on multiple tv's (volume was perfect for conversing), as well as gorgeous art for purchase. This has been my go-to HD because of it's ultra easy to find/access location. This HD shares a shopping center w several other businesses, fast food joints, etc. I love that almost anything I need to help fix my Abuelita's house at this store. It is always well stocked & has a nice selection. I load upon my anti-mosquito gear in the garden section but the selection/quantity could be better. This store gets that shopping is a laborious effort because it has a small snack bar where you can purchase food.
