Absolutely the best dentist in Oregon! Staff - Barb in particular - are truly fantastic!!

Unprofessional. Complained to me that my dental insurance did not pay as much as other insurance companies, as I'm sitting there in the dental chair. Just felt very uncomfortable. He should have complained to the insurance company, not me. We had to find a new dentist that took ODS, after going there for three years. read more

I've always hated going to the dentist, but since I started going to Tichy Dental, I don't dread it as much as I used to. Dr. Tichy, Barb, and Laura are all incredibly kind and easy to talk to. The staff ask questions about my personal life and they actually remember the details! I really appreciate the effort they put into making their patients comfortable. When it comes to the work, Dr. Tichy is a perfectionist. I've had dentists in the past who don't pay as much attention to detail, and it's had an effect on my teeth down the line. Here, I feel comfortable knowing that Dr. Tichy uses quality materials and won't let me leave the chair until everything is just right. Another thing I enjoy about going here is the microscope! Dr. Tichy has a microscope on while he works and a screen on the ceiling so the patient can watch what's happening. Most dentists dig around in your mouth without giving you much insight as to what's going on in there. Here, Dr. Tichy explains exactly what's happening and you can see the process. Personally, I enjoy this, but if you're sensitive to a little blood, you may want to let them know ahead of time. My gums bled a tiny bit (which I'm sure is totally normal while getting dental work done) so if you're sensitive to that, it may be best to look away. Over all, I would definitely recommend Tichy Dental for anyone needing dental work. read more

My wife and I have been going to Tichy Dental the last 6 months and have already gotten a good amount of work done. The team is so warm and fun, the work is top notch, and the price is excellent. The music they play is great too. Easily the best dentist we've ever had! read more

Dr Tichy and all of his staff are super nice, caring and professional. Dr Tichy worked on my two crowns in the last month. There was no discomfort, no pain, no problems at all. The work was done top notch! Dr Tichy's attention to detail is incredible! He is truly the best dentist I have in my life! Highly recommend him! read more

He bothers you for positive reviews then he massacred my mouth (blood everywhere) and his fillings kept falling out.. Told me while he was working on me that he no longer accepts my insurance.. and didn't want to fill my fillings.. he's soo discombobulated all the time.. I would schedule for my fillings and he would poke around in my mouth then ask me to come back because he doesn't have enough time.. I've never in all my life been treated like this.. I'm not a troublemaker.. I go in for my cleanings and fillings if needed.. I left crying.. and blood all over my face and looking for a new dentist.. read more

Had my first filling of my lifetime due to missing 2 cleanings during covid and was truly impressed! This is the first dentist that I've ever been to where the Dentist actually worked on me rather than just a dental hygienist. read more

Dr. Tichy is incredible. We had a rough experience with another local dentist and it made us feel pretty helpless... but THEN we found Tichy ... what an amazing practice, person, and overall experience!!!! I can't believe how professional and dedicated Dr. Tichy and his staff are. Best find ever. Couldn't give a bigger shout!!!! Also love his technology that I haven't seen prior... I got to watch my own filling and see his precision with my own eyes! Absolutely brilliant!!! read more

Dr. Tichy and his family, (he considers his staff part of his family too), are professional, kind and so compassionate. Their office is clean, light and bright and, as a team, they are on-time with their appointments with rare exception. They even have real time video so you can see what he's looking at in your mouth, if you want to! I started seeing Dr. Tichy earlier in 2019. For many reasons, it had been few years of negelect with my regular dental cleanings & my gums were a mess. He sat with me, reviewed x-rays and listened to my dental history and concerns in our first visit. In collaboration with me, he devised a treatment plan and scheduled it out with me that same day. My 10 yr old was with my during my initial visit and said "he's cool and can be my dentist too". My kiddo is not a huge fan of the dentist but Dr. Tichy and Jill won approval very quickly. Recently, I had an issue over a weekend and they opened their office for me to come in to see what was going on. He followed up with me to make sure I was ok. They are a wonderful family owned and opperated business who truly care about thier patients and community. You can tell by thier dedication to serve. I've recommended them to my friends and neighbors and will continue to do so. read more

I took all 3 of my children to have cleanings. I was impressed by Dr. Tichy's attention to detail and how friendly his office is! My kids all felt comfortable and were really happy with their results. My youngest child is typically afraid of going and she even said it was great and she really liked Dr. Tichey. I am excited that we have found a family dentist we all like in our home town! We will be going back! read more

This dentist will never fix a mistake. This dentist will give you a crown that lasts a month. It will break after one month with his shoddy work, then he will try to patch it up with a filling and charge you for doing it. That will break too after one week. Then he will tell you to go elsewhere as he knows he can't fix it. He will refund you. But not all. That is how he makes his money. He did this to me. So I know. read more

Let me start off by saying I don't like the dentist. Not interpersonally, but you know the whole dentistry part. I had neglected seeking dental work for quite some time because of my history of bad experiences. After my second visit I must say, Dr. Tichy is in a league of his own. Mike is so tuned in to his craft it is truly amazing. He and his team are just wonderful. Jill was super welcoming and a wizard at working me in with my crazy schedule. All the while Trish had me cracking up. I felt super comfortable throughout the whole experience. I had fillings done on my second visit following my first for a cleaning and exam. While working on my fillings he discovered previous malpractice that resulted in further damage and readdressed the entire issue. I was shocked and of course further asserted in his aptitude. He quite literally saved my tooth! Also, big reason I'm not a fan of the dentist is the needles and novocaine (bad experiences again ftw). I didn't feel a thing! It was over in an instant and the entire procedure was smoother than I could have ever imagined. It's actually fascinating to see the dental work being done on the overhead monitor. I didn't watch the novocaine part of course but couldn't look away for the rest of the procedure. I can honestly say I left the dentist for the first time with added confidence and extra pep in my step. I'd give 6 stars if I could! read more

Nice enough folks but doctor is very rough. Steer clear if you are nervous at the dentist. No nitrous as an option. Went in for a filling, left with a cracked neighboring tooth. read more

Dr Tichy is amazing! I had a horrible experience with another dentist and Dr Tichy came in like a super hero, eased my anxiety and fixed my tooth! Fast and friendly. So happy to have found a new dentist I like and can trust! read more

I called and got an appointment quickly after I noticed a few small cavities in my back molars. Before this appointment I had avoided the dentist for several years after experiencing a very poorly done wisdom tooth extraction when I was a young teen. Dr. Tichy was very patient with me and took the time to not only listen to my concerns, but also to check in several times throughout my cleaning & fillings. I absolutely love this office and their top of the line care, tools and genuine compassion for the patients. At my follow up/cleaning appointment after my fillings they were all incredibly patient and I felt next to no fear compared to past visits!! If you have any fear or concerns regarding dentists, this is the office to go to! Thank you all so much for what you do read more

When I tell you this is the best dentist I've ever been too in my entire life, I really mean it! I never been to a dentist who pays so much attention to detail and won't allow me to leave until I am completely satisfied. We need more people like Michael who run there business with so much passion. Thank you so much Doc for doing what you love and taking care of you patients, may your business only continue to thrive! read more

Dr. Tichy & his staff are excellent! Friendly, warm office and I never have to wait! Would definitely recommend this dentist!

No one likes going to the dentist. I actively avoided it. I came in for a cleaning expecting the worst. Dr Tichy and his whole team was fast, friendly, and efficient. I got lucky and he only found a couple of cavities. They got me scheduled right away and a week later I was in the chair again. Before I knew it it was over. It was like he knew me and my teeth! I would never describe a dentist visit as enjoyable but i'll be damned if that one wasn't close. As an aside, Dr. Tichy is the only dentist I've ever been to who showed me what was happening inside my mouth (with a camera) while it was happening! It is surprisingly comforting (and interesting!) to watch the process in real time. read more

Came in for a simple cleaning, but left knowing a lot more about my teeth and how to take care of them. Dr. Tichy and his staff are super nice and did a great job! read more

Dr. Tichy is a very caring and thorough dentist. He goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Tichy and his staff are excellent professionals. They offer excellent customer service and are very honest as to the care they recommend. They are not pushy with their recommendations and are good listeners...this was my first visit and expected a hard sell on further procedures beyond a thorough cleaning and checkup...Dr. Tichy was very thorough and honest regarding future care...he recommended a crown to replace a large silver filling which is something I have known about, and agree with..When I am ready for the procedure I will definitely be going back to have him do it. I highly recommend their services.. read more

I highly recommend coming to Tichy Dental. I've been looking for a dentist to regularly visit for years now, and Tichy was recommended by a friend. They were kind, clean, thorough, and informative. You also receive more direct patient care from Dr Tichy than you would at other dental practices. I've already scheduled my next appointment and will encourage friends and family to visit as well. read more

Dr. Tichy is dedicated to making your smile and oral health better. I've been to him for cleanings and a chipped tooth and he's not only treated those with great skill but helped me fix a crown that was bugging me from a previous dentist without charging me. That shows great care for his patients. His office is clean and modern and he and his staff are friendly, professional, and skilled at their jobs. Joining team Tichy as a patient has left me smiling. read more

I came to Dr. Tichy after a poorly done crown at another dentist's office. I did a lot of research and checked lots of reviews on a ton of dentists in my area. My first visit to Dr. Tichy was awesome. Not only did he fix the issue with the poorly done crown but he shared his knowledge and was very explanatory on all things "teeth". I have full confidence in Dr. Tichy and his office staffs' abilities. I really care about my teeth and I have found a dentist in Dr. Tichy who cares just as much as I do. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tichy and his entire practice. read more
