The process to buy your tickets is straightforward and better well detailed since each venue may have a different process. When purchasing your ticket please pay close attention to see if you get to pick your own seats or they would be assigned by the venue. I only choose to buy tickets for events where I get to choose my seats and have never been disappointed with the process or the price paid.

When I imagined a lights festival, I think not only of quantity and quality, but density - a certain holiday clutter that's both chaotically nostalgic and frustratingly delightful. Instead, this utilization of the Marshfield Fairground is akin to maybe a sandcastle competition: with 20-30 large, somewhat complex displays spaces well apart from each other. And instead of being handcrafted and artistically unique, they're constructed using fabricated templates, and algorithmic synchronization to the associated FM soundtrack. It's reasonably priced ($23/carload), enjoyable and it's a very COVID safe activity, but you should go in with appropriate expectations: it's more a traveling carnival than a festival.

Tickets are about ... hmmm i don't want to misquote but i can't seem to recall. but i remember you don't get a "discount" for buying more, they're all at the same rate. you just save trips to the ticket counter and time spent on waiting in line (if any). cute for a once a year thing. appreciates that it's there. have to pick the right time to go to avoid lines and crowds.

I was impressed by the balance they kept between strong musicianship and a welcoming atmosphere. The chorus has only gotten more professional since then. I attended the Brookline Chorus performance on November 20th entitled "Motets & Chansons." I was…read moreflabbergasted at the $25 ticket price; I've never attended a choral performance where tickets were that expensive, particularly when one can attend free performances by the New England Conservatory at Jordan Hall. Additionally, up to the day of the performance, the "buy tickets" link on the Brookline Chorus site was surreptitiously hidden, giving the impression the concert was free (until we arrived and saw ticket prices tacked to a sign outside the church). Anyway, rip-off pricing aside, the concert was a collection of traditional madrigals with some contemporary pieces thrown in. It was a rather dull selection, with little variation or energy, and there was an irritating amount of unnecessary narration between songs. Nonetheless, there were some amazing voices amongst the group, and the members are undoubtedly very talented. I only wish they'd had a better repertoire for this concert.

Saw Boston College take on the University of Miami at Alumni Stadium on a brisk Friday evening…read more Despite long lines managed to grab a beer during halftime, but did not order any food. Quality I spent many Saturdays cheering for the Eagles football team during my college years and it was a blast coming back. For an exciting televised match-up, fans from both teams packed the stadium creating one of the best atmospheres I could remember at Alumni Stadium. However, even on days when the stadium is empty for a dud of a game, it still makes for a fun afternoon. The one caveat is always the weather, which can quickly ruin a good time. Quantity Alumni Stadium has a capacity of around 45,000, but you will hardly ever see it close to that packed. It does not compete with some of the mega stadiums around college football, but it ensures everyone has a good view of the action. Value Even for the bigger games, tickets are not too hard to come by and usually are reasonably priced. It usually is a matter of how well the opposing team travels. Beers and food are overpriced in the stadium, but that is to be expected. Ambiance Alumni Stadium sits on the Boston College Chestnut Hill campus right outside the city of Boston. It is strictly a college stadium and serves a smaller campus population, so does not compare to the mega stadiums for professional teams or many public universities. Its most recent renovations came in 1995, but the stadium has been maintained well and still feels relatively new. Massive screens on the ends make sure you can enjoy the game regardless of where you sit, but most seats keep you close to the field. Proximity of the field to the nearby reservoir does create a breeze, which on already cool days can feel even cooler. Just make sure to dress warm. Crowd The stadium is often empty for Saturday afternoon kickoffs, but for a big game under the lights the place was rocking. Unfortunately the stadium was not ready for the big crowd, and limited bathrooms and concession stands meant lines stretching around the stadium. However, the fans are some of the most laid-back and polite people you will meet at a college football game. Service While Alumni Stadium is a modern facility, it struggles with large crowds. Even with staff working fast and hard, lines quickly form near the concessions areas. The good things are they are adept at getting folks into the stadium quickly and despite the more crowded game, the bathrooms were kept in good shape. Parking The campus has limited parking on an average day, so during football games things get out of hand. Car service companies or public transportation are the better options to get to and from the stadium. Extra Even as a graduate of Boston College with many fond memories, I have no illusion that Alumni Stadium is a great place to see a game. However, it gets the job done and the friendly fans make it a fun atmosphere to enjoy some football.

Concession stands could be a bit better too. I got a puni lil hot dog for 4.50 so no need to stress how expensive that is. Also, they should separate the line for food and beer. Most ppl are ordering beer while you wait in a tremendously long line to get your expensive food. Guess it's to be expected since it's a stadium but at least dont give us the smallest hot dogs in the world. I get huge filling ones at Costco for 1.50 that's including a drink.

He was also very warm, professional, and accomodating the day of the event. The drummers were excellent, and the audience absolutely loved them.
