I have been searching for a dog food which would help out my hound for about a year now. He has a…read moreproblem in his thyroid and his coat is almost gone in addition to having a few hotspots come and go. I don't think the hot spots hurt him but they are uncomfortable and cause no stop itching. I ended up on vet food finally and it made no difference when compared to the Walkmart bargin basement food. Bruce at Pawpas got me onto their Original Dog Food, which is chicken based. Within one month my dogs coat had returned and the hot spots gone! Another month after that and we were able to take him off his thyroid medication! I will never be able to thanks Pawpas enough, they gave me my dog back. We were desperate, we'd just arrived in Penticton…read moreand my dog was bit by another dog in the leg, she needed a bunch of stitches, her leg was a mess. Dr. Brar was amazing!! Even though it was 7:30 at night, and he was busy with another emergency dog, he saw my dog Tallulah and was able to exam, clean and wrap her leg up for the night. He gave her meds till the morning when we came at 8:00 am for surgery. All Amazing!! The surgery went well, Dr. Brar stitched her up, she was given amazing care. The staff were very kind and let me go in the back post surgery to see her stitches and discussed her wound and after care. We were given meds and instructions of home care. Wow!!! From beginning to end. We went back for follow up 3 times before our trip was over. Each time amazing! Each time other folks in the waiting room were bragging how great Dr. Brar was with their pet. I'm just so grateful for the emergency care, and follow up, my dog is on the mend!! Thank you!! Side note: they processed the pet insurance for me too! All very easy.
