I got my car washed today and was more than pleased. Very friendly greeting and my car is spotless! It was quick and efficient. I vacuumed my car out with their high suction vacuums. Pulled in and had to wait for someone to come and take my card, IF there is someone to prewash the back it's with dirty water. Never any towels in the carts, half the vacuums don't work and the thing that finally did it for me is the last time I went through there is when I came out of the car wash (not a cheap one either!) my windshield still had the dirty brush marks from the prewash brushes, it was nasty!! I was in town for a business trip and wanted to get my car washed and cleaned up. I paid $30 for the supreme wash. However, I was extremely disappointed that after I got my car washed, there were no towels at any of the bays closest to the one I was at. I went looking around trying to find someone to help and this guy was on his phone so I really wasn't sure he was an employee, but as I got closer, he just put his phone down and asked me if he could help me and I told him that there were no towels at any of the three bays that I just passed. He just pointed to one of the stalls that had towels. So after I got me a handful of towels, I went and dried and vacuumed my car. But once again, I was inconvenienced as one of the vacuums on the passenger side of my car did not work so I had to pull into another bay. I actually pulled into two more bays before I found a vacuum that worked. Oh, and none of the little air sprayer things worked in any of the stalls. They really need to fix their equipment and keep the bays equipped with towels and all things needed for a successful wash and dry. I will not be back to this Tidal Wave because nothing works. By the way, I noticed other people getting in their cars and driving to different bays because of the lack of working vacuums. Beware- this place will gladly take your money every month if you have a membership but more times than not they have the wash coned off so you can't pull in. Out of a 30 day month I was only able to wash my truck 3 times bc it's always closed off. I work right down the street so I pass tidal wave at least 3 times every day, this place is a joke. If you have mud on your vehicle don't bother coming bc they will turn you right back around. Most of the time part of the wash is broken, and seldom ever does your vehicle come out completely clean. This has to be one of the poorest run businesses in Douglas, located right next to the very worst restaurant hardees. we are cancelling all memberships effective immediately, you will have better luck in your front yard with a water hose!!! I have called customer service multiple times just trying to lock in a time that they will be open, they always say the same exact thing', we're open right now sir...beware, don't waste your time or money!!! read more

If your car or truck has dirt on it they will tell you to go wash it first. I have been paying almost $40.00 a month for over two years and now they changed the way they do business without telling me if I have mud on my truck they will not wash it but still take my money and I'm out of luck and I can go somewhere else to get my truck washed. read more

It is sad when you live on a dirt road or have to travel on one to visit someone and your car is spattered with mud. You are told that they will not allow you to use their services next time. I was also told that I should have rinsed some of the mud off before I came. I have the monthly membership and I do not abuse the right to wash my car here. I was not the only one that was told this today. I understand that some people go out and get their vehicle extremely dirty by playing in the mud. Everyone should not be punished because someone else abuses the car wash. I understand that an excessive amount of clay will clog things up. I am along with some others are not those people. When Tidal Wave first came to Douglas, I was more than pleased! I left Goo-Goo (paid monthly subscription) to come here. Purchased the $25 unlimited wash in January, BUT buyer beware! Apparently "unlimited" doesn't really mean Unlimited. I was told by one of the workers that my "unlimited" subscription only meant once per day. I found this out after I took my truck through, then went to the vacuum station and wiped down everything the wash missed on the outside. After wiping everything down, I could see the smear marks from where I wiped it down, so I decided to take it back through (why not, I have unlimited washes). That's when the guy told me it was once a day! I had to back out of the driveway! If Goo Goo could figure out the windshield residue from their washes, I'd go back to immediately. By the way, I cancelled my "unlimited" subscription as well. read more

Very disappointed with what's going on. Paid for a $25 wash with part of the wash that's broke and not working . Ask manager to post a sign letting people know that part of the wash is broken so they wouldn't pay $25 for that part of the wash, And he told me no.. he wasn't putting up a sign.
