I stopped by this Tide Cleaners the other day to have some suits dry cleaned. It's a pretty convenient location on Linton, plenty of parking and it's also next to the Whole Foods which was handy because I had to do some shopping. When I came back 2 days later, I found that the suits were cleaned beautifully and they were ready for pickup right on time. The staff was pleasant and helpful too, no problems at all. I called at 6:30pm and was told the "truck" would arrive at 7pm. I received a text at 7pm saying my clothes were ready. I arrived at 7:30 pm only to see the store closed at 7pm. The text said to call a number for 24/7 pick up, when you dial the number it says the site is open from 7am-7pm. They wasted our time . All their reviews are a one star for reason. Once again I pulled up and parked right in front of the window on 4/17/26 around 4pm. Two girls and a guy at the counter. No customers inside. I sat in my car and watched people walk inside and be help but not one employee would walk outside and assist me. I had to walk in and ask why they are ignoring people outside. I used this service for when I was traveling for work. I dropped it off on Sunday and it was ready by Monday after 6 PM. The staff was very helpful, with it be my first time she thoroughly explained everything. I got the wash and fold my clothes smell great and they were folded nicely. Not exactly sure what has happened to my Delray Tide Cleaners!? We got back in town last week & my boyfriend and I have always used this location in previous years. The staff the last few years has always been so great, personable, knowledgeable & has always made it an all around pleasant experience. However, this year it isn't the same. My family is here in Delray 6 months out of the year & Tide Cleaners in Delray has always been our go to dry cleaners. The friendliness, customer service & atmosphere doesn't match previous years. This is not how any of us remember it being at all which is unfortunate & I don't think we will be using Tide Cleaners moving forward. read more

I have used other Tide Cleaners locations and had a positive experience with this location in Delray Beach. The store is part of a larger strip mall near the Whole Foods, and the parking lot can be difficult during busy hours. It is very small inside, but it is clean and bright and there are doors on both the front and side of the building. They were not able to look up the account I had at other Tide Cleaner locations so the staff had to re-enter all the information into their computer. It took maybe 5 minutes extra, but they discounted my first drop-off 15% for the inconvenience which I really appreciated. I dropped off 5 items on a Saturday afternoon and they were all ready 48 hours later - even before the "guaranteed done by" time on the ticket. The prices were not on the final receipt, but it came out to about $10 for women's dress pants, $10 for a women's cashmere sweater, and $3.50 for pressing a men's shirt. (Just over $31 for all 5 items after the discount.) read more

I've been using Tide Cleaners here in Delray since it first opened (I think that was 2019) and they've really been great! This store is always clean, they do the dry cleaning very quick, and they do a nice job. Very consistent. I love the convenience of the Tide App and they give great digital coupons. But the reason for my 5-Star review is that the store manager, Sandi, is just above and beyond excellent. Good customer service is so rare these days but never with Sandi - she always has a great smile, so welcoming and extremely helpful. read more

I will never use this cleaners again! It's awful!!! They promise you your cleaning will be ready by a specific time; however, it ISN'T. The cleaning is sent out and most of it is not done there on site. The 2 gentlemen working behind the desk received the brunt of my frustration and disappointment even though they were accommodating and tried to be helpful. But they couldn't help me because four of my six pieces were not there in their store... They had not yet been delivered... I was promised these items would be ready on Friday after 6 PM and they are not. If I had been given this information when I dropped off my Cleaning I would've taken it somewhere else because I needed the cleaning to wear tomorrow. read more

I did have one minor incident with tide cleaners a long time ago but it was isolated and I've gone to them so many times I figured it was within reason that something would eventually happen...and shame on me for being that way because here we go...two more ruined garments. These two shirts are completely ruined despite trying to have them dry cleaned. One dress also had a problem as pictured below, thankfully not ruined, and now just an inconvenience for me that I shouldn't have had to worry about. I spend hundreds of dollars every time I go to tide cleaners to make sure my clothes are treated well. I was told to call back Monday to speak to the manager about getting a refund so we will see how that process goes. Either way, I'm never going back. Time to find a new dry cleaner. Brought in designer dress, at the time to pick up all spots was there, no one bothered to clean them, even I specifically pointed at them and made them to put stickers at each one. They promised to clean it again. Spots was gone except one. But dress was washed instead dry cleaned. Color was faded, all fabric wrinkled. Walked in again and told them what happened. They said manager will call you. 3 days later, no one called. Called them again, manager long way gone, she works till 1 pm. Have to try call them again. I'm very upset, frustrated, and disappointed. They stole $200 which was left inside the zipper packet of a jogger which I left in the bag by mistake but it's not a dry cleaning garment. The manager told me that it's company policy to check pockets and they didn't in front of the cameras but clearly you could see a bulky pocket in the video. There was no resolution in repairing the theft. Don't trust this Co. They are thieves. Imagine if it was a valuable piece of jewelry with a sentimental value. I saw the money in that zipper compartment but didn't take it out because I didn't have a purse with me then I thought of putting the jogger with the money inside of the bag for easy grab to pull it out later before dropping it at Tide's since I had my puppy with me as well. Then completely forgot to pull it out. I swear the money was there! It's so dishonest and infuriating. We are regular customers at Tide Cleaners. I arrived at Tide Cleaners on Linton in Delray Beach before 3:00 p.m. today to drop off 1 shirt. There were no parking spots but a Tide Cleaners customer had just come out and was getting ready to pull out right in front of their sliding doors. I had my blinker on and was waiting to pull in. When I was finally able to pull into another spot that had cleared a couple cars over still in front of Tide Cleaners I came up to the outside of the glass sliding doors immediately after I parked, it was 3:02 p.m. The 2 attendants that were facing me inside of the glass sliding doors refused to let me in to drop off 1 shirt. First the young woman with about shoulder length black hair said no then the taller young man with short blond hair said no. When I immediately thereafter called to let the man who answered the phone know I had been waiting with my blinker in plain sight right in front of their window for their customer to pull out prior to 3:00 p.m. he answered that I was not parked before 3:00 p.m. I let him know that I was going to have to let someone know how they treat their customers and he replied to go ahead. Their actions at the door and over the phone are completely unacceptable. I have just learned from another of their customers that, apparently, this is not the first time these 2 employees have put the customers last instead of first. read more

Yolanda the manager of the Wellington location (who I've been speaking with ) since this Monday Nov 21, told me I could pick up my police uniform at the location of Delray Beach (the location that I live and TIDE Cleaner pick up and drop off my clothes 2 times a week) on Wednesday, so here I am and there's nothing here for me . I called and she was not in the store in Wellington , and nobody in there or in Delray had anything for me. The girl in the store said she contacted Yolanda and she had said she had never spoke with me . What a joke! Very unprofessional and I am super disappointed . Absolutely, the worst service. Delivered my clothes to another house and then lied taking a photo that was not of my door. Manager said I would hear from upper management and I left numerous messages. This is after a previous delivery person put my clothes on the ground in the rain. I gave this company 3 chances and each time was lied too, made false promises and regret not canceling my account sooner. DO NO use this company unless you want to play hide and seek with your clothes and hope no one steals them. In addition, I was told some clothes were forgotten and they are still at the store. I would have never guessed how disappointed my experience was as I am a local and see the store is always busy. On Thursday night, I dropped off towels to be washed and folded after my washer and dryer stopped working. As I expressed it was my first time using Tide, the associate failed to disclose that it would be $3 a lbs and my bag was 10 lbs. The next day, I was able to pick up my order, and was utterly shocked when my total was $30. The associate that was completing my pick up was deflective and pinning the situation on another associate. He was saying, "It wasn't me" and "Check who was working there last night." The associate would not accept the responsibility on behalf of the store. The attitude of the associate was abysmal. I think this would be a great training opportunity for upper management to explain you have to adjust your tone and attitude when you're at work compared to being with friends. The associate could have easily said, "I am sorry for the miscommunication regarding the price. Let me discount your order by 20% today to accommodate. We will ensure that our entire team will be notified on how to discus pricing." The manager on duty was extremely apologetic and was able to provide a discount. I appreciated his kindness as professionalism. If you want to be ripped off and be disrespected by teenagers then go to Tide. It's been since June and now it's the end of August I have been back and forth about a dye mark that appeared on my white comforter. They offered $150 for it. I wouldn't be able to replace for no less than $280. At least with the $150 I could get decent cover for it, but they wouldn't give me the comforter back. What are they going to do with it? This is the worst service I have experienced. Not only I Had to return my curtains since they were not iron correctly, but they promised them the next day. Here I am 4 days later and I still don't have them. They can't even trace them or tell me when they will be here! Never told me how much the cleaning will be and they charge me $125 dollars.! Stopped here at tide with a serious problem, no dress shirts for Thursday. I got up early went To the store with 7 white shirts and to my surprise a clerk who had a black eye told me I could pick them up that day after 5. She also told me about all the other services they have including a kiosk you can pick up your stuff after hours. Mom and pops are ok but if you want great services Tide is the answer. I honestly do like this service. Any time I have ever had an issue, they made up for it without batting an eye. Their customer service is top notch, their facility is very clean, staff is polite and turn around time for dry cleaning is quick. You can pull up for direct service to your car without getting out and they have a 24/7 drop area for your items. They make a bag for you with your name on it to identify your items for dropping in off-hours (bag made during business hours). The only reason I can't give the extra star: at times their staff doesn't come out to your car even though they should- at which time you'll need to walk in for service. They have cameras inside to watch for cars parking and aren't as attentive with that as they could be. This is definitely a point for improving internally as a business since they advertise it as you pull up- which really sets them apart from their competitors. Finally, they are more expensive than their competitors in the area but there are a lot of extras they provide as well that their competitors don't, which i chalk up to the price difference. read more

They have drop of and home delivery services which I have not taken advantage of but I love having the option. very professional appearance but they do an awful job for an expensive price. my outfit came back with more wrinkles than it went in with. my jacket had a hard crease down the sleeves, the collar was pressed down In the wrong position, and there's a spot that wasn't there before. The waistband on the pants was pressed with buckling, not pressed flat, there was a tiny blood spot on a cushion cover, it came back with a sorry note that trying to remove the stain was deemed too dangerous. a tiny blood spot is minor for a dry cleaner. take your sweat pants there, not your good clothes. I feel bad for whoever invested in this business, I wonder if they are aware of the incompetence. read more

I like this place for the longer hours and access they provide. I always have trouble with other cleaners closing on Sundays, evenings, etc, as I'm busy and can't always get there during normal business hours. They are efficient and do stuff fast without being fussy. read more

This is somehow the worst dry cleaner ever. If they don't rip your shirt, they misplace it or their kiosks doesn't work. You're better off just dragging your clothing across some soapy pavement. Also they'll close early so if the kiosk doesn't work you'll have to go back early in the morning. The 24 hour pickup was the biggest draw here for me. The managers are great and do whatever they can to remedy an issue but the average employee here just doesn't care. If Tide isn't paying them a livable wage, they need to ASAP.
