The box had air openings, the cellophane window was not sealed and there was no outer box. I discussed my disappointment with management and they made it right. This review is a several years late, and I have not used them since. I used them for a couple of years exclusively, and they always did a good job and although more expensive than competitors, but accepted competitors' coupons, which almost halved the cost. One day, I brought in a larger than usual order, with, as usual, a competitor's coupon in the bag. When I picked up the order, the invoice was considerably more than what I expected it to be. When I questioned it, thinking they overlooked the coupon, they nonchalantly announced that they no longer accepted that cleaner's coupons. There was no notice posted, and I left cleaning with them at least every two weeks, so this was a very recent decision on their part. I argued that they should honor the coupon this tome and now that I was aware that they no longer accepted them, I wouldn't use it anymore. They refused to budge, even after talking to the manager. This wasn't an awful experience but it was close. We have been to many tide cleaners and this is the first that only does dry cleaning. After we found out this information we said ok and went with them anyways. We then received a call where they said "we will not do underwear or sock. Still said "ok!" Then we go to pick it up and they left not only socks and underwear but also workout shorts and a one piece workout outfit. They washed other basketball shorts but chose to leave a ton of other non-underwear and sock items. Disappointed with the service. read more

Horrible customer service. We used Tide for several months after the locally owned cleaners we had been using closed. In early January my wife dropp off our clothing including 4 sweaters of hers. They ruined the sweater. They look like hell! After some run around we finally spoke to a manager who said they would look into what happened and get back with us. Almost 30 days later no callback or response from them. we have now found another locally owned clearer who is getting our business. Stay away from this corporate owned cleaners. read more

I took my jerseys in there to have the stains brought out and I basically paid for them to just wash them and that's it. " like I could have done that myself" I go to pick up and they look just like they did when I dropped them off. horrible job. very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend them for stain removal. i get not wanting to ruin jerseys but I gave approval to get stains out whatever it took and still waste of money and gas and time. This Tide Dry Cleaning store is amazing. The ladies who work here are the kindest most helpful people ever. I used to go to Pride Cleaners and they were usually staffed with people who don't know much about the process or employees who barely talk and are super unhelpful. Every time I come here I am Impressed! Whether it is a winter coat that was spilled on or cultural dresses that are sometimes hard to clean they always do a great job and if they worry about damage or Shrinkage they always warn us. Tide Dry Cleaners has been my number one dry cleaner I rely on when I'm in need of nicely ironed clothes and they remove stains pretty well. The work the workers in the back do is admirable, standing the whole day and ironing other people's clothes and dry cleaning in an intense heat I believe. The front desk ladies are friendly giving a home like feeling. The location of Tide at this place in Overland Park is nice to access and handy when you need to have your clothes dried cleaned. 100x recommend to anyone new to Olathe or Overland Park or Kansas. I've met the staff before and they all show effort and pride in their work and are really friendly. Tide is the way to go! :) read more

I wanted to take my comforter and pillow shams to have them cleaned. They told me that I would have to sign a waiver to say if they ruined them I would not hold them responsible. I could not believe what was being said to me. The instructions say dry clean only. Terrible service and stupid employees NEVER LEAVE YOUR THINGS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Horrible experience x 2!! My husband and I had been going to a private dry cleaner for many years but decided to try this TIDE cleaners due to the location and easy drop off. They tore the shoulder sleeve of one of his shirts and then denied their equipment (or operator) was at fault - blamed my husband saying the shirt was already torn...uh WRONG. They refused any compensation for the shirt. Though my husband left them after that experience, I kept taking my clothing there until I took my favorite pair of pants to a business conference and found they had been stretched out unbelievably by the TIDE process!! Sad that I had to wear stretched out baggy pants that day - borrowed a safety pin for the waist! When I took them to this TIDE and asked for the manager, a woman talked to me about it and said that any items with spandex in them (like my pants) can get stretched on their equipment but she would do them again to reduce the stretched out effect. I was very skeptical, but she said others had the same experience (!!) and were pleased with her solution. I figured I had nothing to lose since the pants were ruined - my favorite pants and cost $120. She asked me nicely to let her try to fix it and said she would flag my account to not put any spandex items on their equipment - which tends to stretch items. In the end, her solution did not work which frankly did not surprise me since I couldn't imagine how you could possibly "unstretch" clothing! Took the pants back in and spoke to another woman manager and told her my whole story - apparently the first woman was not a manager and didn't work there anymore...and shouldn't have told me she could fix the pants or that others had my same problem! Both she and the owner blamed the fabric because it contained spandex but these pants had been cleaned elsewhere and never stretched!! This is a franchise operation and the owner is not honorable and would not compensate me in any way! The reason TIDE is cheaper than other private dry cleaners is their process is very automated and obviously can ruin or tear clothing. I will not go back! Taking the time to write this lengthy post so others will be forewarned and not end up at a business conference begging for a safety pin so their pants don't fall down!! read more

I do not usually post reviews reviews but happened to be on yelp checking the holiday hours and was shocked at the negative reviews and felt compelled to post. I grew up working in a dry cleaners all the way through school and understand how difficult it can be to match the mystery stains to the right chemicals to remove. Tide dry cleaners has by far been the best cleaners I have ever used in my 20 years as a dry cleaning customer. I have been going to this location since before the move from the price chopper strip across the street. I love the drive through and extended hours (even open on Sunday!). Yes it is a bit more expensive but I spend good money on business attire and want my suits and shirts to last many years. They also used environmentally friendly chemicals vs the old perc chemicals. read more

I have been a customer of this store for a number of years. Service has always been great, until today. I picked up a nearly $70.00 order earlier this week. I later discovered a pair of the slacks had the zipper mangled and would not zip up. I returned the slacks this afternoon to the store, only to be told by I assume manager, that "this appears to be due to wear. See the missing teeth? This happens with plastic zippers. Not our fault". Been coming this location for years. I have to say that I am amazed every time I go ...what can I say the best part is their employees. They know my name as soon as I pull up. I find it interesting that certain people only want to complain the one time something goes wrong but not compliment the zillion other times that everything went right. I have been a loyal Tide customer since they first opened. I bring in a variety of items to be cleaned frequently and I have never had an issue with one item.....NOT even a broken button. That's impressive if you have been to the other dry cleaners. I'm alway impressed with the smiling, friendly girls that greet me in the drive through.
