I chose tidy village because they don't use harsh chemicals. Rather it's all old fashioned elbow grease. My only concern was they don't do residential on weekends. Since my husband works from home, I worries about having someone clean... but the owner understood and Audrey is fantastic. So quiet we forget she's there. She does a very through job as well. I interviewed every company in Bend and found LAuna to be the most professional, caring--as soon as I met her I realized I wasn't another revenue source, she actually career about me and our home. I found Tidy Village via yelp and the reviews. What a great find! Honestly, one of the best for me. My husband and I bought a vacation home in Sunriver and are managing it ourselves long distance. We had engaged another cleaning company who couldn't return calls, and hand wrote everything. Made me question whether or not they would show up properly for the cleanings on time. Launa and her crew were amazing from day one. They got back to me when they said they would, always show up on time for their cleaning of our home. But most importantly, Tidy Village has a process in place for ensuring all things that are important to you as the owner are done properly. Launa is super detail orientated and it shows in her professionalism and structure she has in place. I am not usually a review writer, but I feel that it is important for other community members to have information when making choices, especially about having people in their homes. I was optimistic about Tidy Village and appreciated that they encouraged clear communication and working together to understand our needs; however, this encouragement for direct communication felt fake. Attempts at direct communication (e.g., please clean under beds) were ignored. And the vibe was weird. Just discontinued service after paying $170 for a "clean" that left our floors untouched. Folded toilet paper and room spray are no substitute for actual cleaning. Look elsewhere if you want your house cleaned. Stick with this company if you want passive aggressive communication. read more

I selected Tidy Village in mid 2019 after interviewing several different cleaners and cleaning companies. Launa was very professional and provided a wonderful cleaning service for the last couple of years. Fast forward to August 2021, and after sticking with Tidy Village during this last very tough year and a half with Covid and continual different cleaners showing up every couple of weeks I received an email from the new owners this weekend (after finding out the company has changed hands a couple of times and Launa has been gone with no communication to us) stating they were no longer going to service my home and my next cleaning appointment (scheduled this week) has been cancelled. It was beyond shocking. I just spoke with Angela who cleaned my home and she was excited to let me know they were buying the company, to watch for the big announcement and were making lots of positive changes, letting me know that I could expect consistent cleaners and great service going forward. I have paid $400 per month for my cleaning for the last 2 years, had trainees constantly working in my home but with Covid understood that times were tough and wanted to support the company and see them succeed. I never complained, only within the last month I let them know there were some issues just recently with a clean. I thought everything was fine and the new owners were going to be wonderful to work with. I'm very disappointed and completely shocked at this, be aware when hiring them - apparently good customers are expendable. read more

I remodeled my entire home-- cabinets, all floors, everything---- - I asked Launa for a thorough "Construction Clean ". Launa assured me that they'd get it all, with extra fee for serious ladder work-- I moved into my home after Tidy Village cleaning-- every blade of the ceiling fans were clean, as were the tops of ductless heating units and hidden alcoves-- Launa assured me that cleaning agents were as natural as possible, and that she'd guarantee the work we agreed upon. Another very disappointed customer. Launa spent 3 hours at my home with a total if 3 workers, and got about half my home cleaned and said she could not finish the job because I did not pay her enough money! I gave her $125 and told her if she needed more then I would pay her. She left my home and did about half the work with a total of 3 employees. You can't clean a 2900 square foot home with 3 employees in 3 hours! I finished the job by myself over my lunch break from work. A very disappointing experience. I contacted Launa, the owner, to set up cleaning services. Initially she was seemed excited to have my business. But, after informing her that I had a coupon, her demeanor changed. She cancelled my appointment, saying her cleaners had been in an accident but everyone was fine. After reaching out to her several times, she finally responded that she was able to reschedule me for the following week. When I inquired about the exact time and date, I could not get a response. Again, after several attempts to contact her she finally replied that she was not accepting new clients, due to the accident. I was left with the strong suspicion that she did not wish to honor the coupon that she had offered. During this process, she told me that the $100 coupon would be spread over six cleanings, per the coupon's terms. But, when I looked at these terms my self, it clearly stated "This coupon is only good for a single transaction." The final result, I got the run around and nothing was actually done. read more

Tidy Village has been cleaning my home for over a year. Initially, I requested a deep cleaning service prior to the birth of my baby, with a follow-up clean 2 weeks after the birth, because I needed extra help during that time. Launa and her friendly and professional crew did such a good job and we found so much value in the service she offered that we continue using the services regularly for a year! I really appreciated that the crew was detail-oriented and efficient with their time - I have 2 kids, 3 dogs, and a 2800 sqft house and they went above and beyond any expectation I had, AND stayed within my budget. Our family has chemical/fragrance sensitivities and we really appreciated the use of all natural cleaning products - and the house smelled so fresh and clean after every visit! (even with three dogs!) Scheduling was always really easy and Launa is professional and highly organized - the reminder emails and text messages really helped me stay organized too! As for rates, I found them really fair and affordable without the need for any coupons. Overall, my family is 1000% satisfied with Tidy Village Cleaning.
