This rating is based only on the bridal appointment my daughter had, as she did not say "Yes to the dress." We arrived with a party of 6 in total. The two ladies helping were wonderful! They were friendly and attentive to my daughter's wishes and vision. Their boutique is both spacious & clean. I loved the sitting area for guests and cute signage! Stepping into Tie the Knot was the first time I really felt like a bride. I thought it might be the elegant look of the studio, or the mimosas that kept flowing, but at the end of the day.. it was the attentive and personalized service from Kelly and Jackie. We started with a quick one on one consultation about MY wants and needs. Asking questions I didn't realize were important like the venue, time of year, time of day, theme, my colors. Then used my answers to build a profile that gave me the dress of my dreams. Even though at first I denied it on the rack! I've casually known Kelly for a few years now and I've seen how she put her heart and soul into this studio (female small business owners are the freakin besttt) so I wasn't a bit suprised to see how knowledgeable she was about the dresses. She was able to give me a really good idea of what customizations we could do during ordering and what was possible in alterations. Having that in depth understanding of the dresses reassured me I was in good hands. And she handled my budget so freakin well. We didn't have to talk about it after the initial consultation and she just silently found dresses that were in my price range. No "get what you pay for: BS.. It would have been so terrible to shop for MY WEDDING DRESS with a number hanging over my head. I'm so thankful I didn't have to. Overall I was so impressed with the whole experience.. especially the grace she helped me handle my ehhem.. opinionated peanut gallery . As an event planner, this part of the journey meant a lot to me and I really wanted it to be an experience. It was more than what I hoped for and they really knocked it out of the park!! read more

I tried on 6 dresses and the last one was not what I originally thought I wanted but it ended up being "the" one - it is perfect and I give Kelly and Jackie 100% credit for that! I just wanted to thank Kelly for helping me choose a second dress for my Wedding. My first dress for the ceremony, although beautiful, was a very heavy dress. My husband and I chose to choreograph a dance only 2 months before our wedding and I knew I needed something easier to dance in at the reception. Kelly's boutique is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. She is so sweet and extremely knowledgeable about her dresses. She chose many dresses for me to try on that were lightweight and complemented my body. I ended up choosing the first one she picked for me! She was able to put me in contact with a local seamstress, Wendy, who was incredible and finished my dress very quickly. Kelly (the owner) was so wonderful to work with. I was super emotional & anxious to find the perfect dress. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Tie the Knot! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed by Kelly. She introduced herself to the girls with me and offered us champagne. Her boutique is beautiful and with a very relaxed setting. She was so helpful with trying on dresses and I never once felt rushed. I even called her to come back later in the afternoon to try the dress on again that I knew I wanted, and she again did not rush me at all. Kelly is amazing! I booked my appointment not knowing it was a major event weekend and Kelly made sure to give me a heads up and even went out of her way to block off a parking spot for me in front of her shop as well. I love the fact that this is a very intimate setting and I was able to experience the emotional moment of finding my dress with my mom and sister. Kelly and Jackie are amazing and this shop is a must-stop (last-stop) in your search for a wedding dress. I had been to a few other well-known shops in the area and some far away and almost canceled my appointment here just out of frustration and not wanting to try on another dress. Kelly convinced me to keep it and I am SO glad she did. It was unlike any experience I had at any other bridal shop - in the best ways. She sat with me and listened to what I liked, what I wanted, my theme for the wedding. And then the first dress she brought in was 100% THE dress. I was on a tight timeline and she showed me ones that I could have new in my timeline or good conditioned samples near my size. Regardless, I went with the first dress, got it in with time to spare, and got married in it last weekend and everyone raved on the beauty of the dress. Even my tailor gawked at the intricacy of the gown and begged for pictures. It was truly a couture gown without the couture price tag. I highly recommend Tie the Knot to any bride any where.
