Inside the space is quite large and the ceiling is high and airy. The decor is really nice too, in fact the best paintings we saw in any restaurant in town. There is also a wall of photos of some of the great artists known for their time in France (Van Gough, Manet and Monet, Pissarro, etc.)
The food was not only delicious but also beautifully laid out, especially my "palette" of seafood. I also ordered the multi-dish dessert. WOW! If you're in Nimes, this little gem of a restaurant (off the main tourist track) is a MUST TRY! It was located just across from our hotel (which is why we took so long to try it...silly) The Hotel Tuileries. I also highly recommend the stay. British expat innkeepers Andrew and Karen are really great.
