If you are currently searching for a planning and coordination team that combines a relentless work…read moreethic with a genuine heart for their clients, look no further than Say Yes Weddings and Events. Having partnered with them as a vendor on several occasions, I have seen firsthand the level of dedication this team pours into every single event. From the owners to the onsite staff, their commitment to excellence is consistent, professional, and--most importantly--deeply personal. What truly sets Say Yes apart is their ability to anticipate the "unseen" details that a client might not even know to consider. While couples focus on the big picture, this team is in the trenches managing the fine print. They are experts at navigating the specific limitations of vendor contracts and staffing, ensuring that every professional on-site is empowered to do their best work without overstepping boundaries. I've watched them meticulously protect family heirlooms and personal decor, treating those items with the same reverence as the family does. They even go as far as managing the perimeter to ensure uninterrupted processionals, keeping distractions at bay so that the most sacred moments of the ceremony remains flawless. As a vendor, I am always provided with an incredibly detailed, comprehensive timeline. It's clear that they don't just dictate a schedule; they collaborate with their couples to ensure every song choice and "must-have" moment is protected. This level of preparation allows the entire vendor team to stay perfectly in sync with the client's vision, creating a seamless experience for everyone involved. One of my favorite things about working with them is their proactive (and sometimes humorous!) approach to "managing the chaos." Whether it's using a megaphone to organize a rowdy crowd of 150+ guests or staying focused during the high-energy transitions of a reception, they do whatever it takes to get the job done. Watching them line up a massive group for a grand exit is like watching a masterclass in coordination--they ensure the couple gets that "perfect shot" while keeping the energy high and the guests happy. For any couple looking for a team that will maximize your budget, respect your time, and advocate for your vision from start to finish, I cannot recommend Say Yes Weddings and Events highly enough. They are an incredible team that stays on par with every request and works tirelessly all day to ensure your event is nothing short of perfection. An incredible team, all the way!

I am not the kind of person to write negative reviews, but for brides trying to ensure their money…read moregoes far, I would not recommend Say Yes Wedding Events Planners. I had my wedding on the Mississippi Gulf Coast because my family is from there. I currently live 18 hours away and knew I wanted to spend the money to hire a coordinator to help alleviate stress and ensure things would be taken care of. I do not think that they provided adequate work for the cost of their package. I bought the "I Do" Package. This package includes "1. Collaborating with the client through planning process, 2. Creating a detailed timeline and floor plan, 3. Taking lead on 50% of your vendor bookings, and 4. On your wedding day, they take the reins, allowing you to enjoy a stress-free celebration. There was almost zero coordination throughout planning. The first two months after I booked them, they were involved and messaging me. After that, communication became very minimal. I figured they would reach out when needed since they were the experts. There were no check-ins or process updates. I reached out with questions many times (most were repetitive because I was not given answers or followed up with information like they said they would). I brought it up to them a month out from the wedding that they had zero idea of any details for the wedding. I even created a document with as much information as I could give them to help begin the conversation. Here are bullets of what we experienced: - There were no updates on a timeline a month out, so my photographer and I built one. The planners were supposed to ensure every vendor received the timeline, but our baker never did. - It took over 3 months to get any information on a vendor through them. I asked multiple times for updates and it wasn't until I said I was calling myself that they got me a quote within 24 hours. - One month out from my wedding they sent an email saying they would be unavailable for 10 days due to Mardi Gras. This was not in my contract nor was it brought up prior to the email notice. I reached out letting them know that was unacceptable and someone would be in contact with me, especially since they hadn't gone over any details with me at this point. - Table numbers were mixed up after being provided not only diagrams but individual bags separated for easy distribution. They also mixed the bride and grooms family tables after being sent the names and photos of the family (as requested) multiple times. - When taking photos after the ceremony, the planner was yelling time left behind the photographer ("13 minutes, 12 minutes, 11 minutes, etc"). This not only stressed us out but our photographer and really took away the moment. - They did not announce dinner like we discussed multiple times. Guests just began eating. They did not do our blessing for the food and when we said we still wanted it, they grabbed our officiant. My uncle was supposed to do the blessing and it was something special he prepared for us. This was not only discuss with them 3 times in writing (including on their final paperwork) and over the phone, but day of did not do it. This only validated that they did not read or know any of the details of our wedding and now that's a moment we can't get back. Again these things may seem like little things, but just as I brought them up to them a month ago. When multiple little things occur over and over again over a period of time, that becomes your reality. I told them I did not feel like a priority and it felt like it showed during the planning process and the day of. I only ever saw great reviews from people which made me second guess myself, but I have now seen two reviews from brides with similar experiences, one of which was the same weekend as us. I want to put this information out there so people can see real experiences. Please take who you choose as your coordinator into account. They really do make or break the stress on your experience. We absolutely adored all our other vendors, including the florist and security from their company! This will never take away from how beautiful our day was!! I just want to warn other brides before you spend the money because we all know how expensive having a wedding is nowadays!
