Tiger Masters TKD has become a second home to my four kids, as well as for myself. My kids started when they were 10, 8, 6, 5. They are now 25, 23, 21, 20. I have one who was promoted to 4th Dan, which "Master", two that are 3rd Dan, and 1 that is 2nd Dan. Three of my kids were on the competition team where we went to DMV tournaments and even to Nationals in California. They have won many trophies from these tournaments. Now, my kids are junior instructors at Tiger Masters to pass on their knowledge and art of Tae Kwon Do to future students/black belts. Master Jordan, who the Master and owner of the school, not only teaches the children at Tiger Masters the art of Tae Kwon Do, she also teaches them about life endeavors. She instills the importance of hard work, straight As in school, respect, honesty, and doing your best. There is no such word as "can't"...but only to "TRY" and "do your best". You will be able to reach your goal if you keep trying. I also enrolled in class with Tiger Masters for the main purpose of losing weight. I trained with the competition team and not only lost weight, got stronger but I got my 3rd degree black belt. I made several friends with the other adult ladies and now 10 years later we still "hang out". my children (ages 5, 6, 8,10) started taekwondo 13 years ago. at first i was a mommy and i watched them workout. after 6 months master jordan encouraged me to join and we have never looked back. my younger three joined the competition team and traveled all over DC, MD, NY, PA, NC and as far as California for tournaments. the experience of competing was great for them all and today they remain competitive in all their activities including college. we all achieved black belts and that was something my whole family enjoyed. i lost over 20 pounds and have kept in shape to this day. tiger masters taught my children; discipline, hard work, achieving excellence, great grades in school and helping at home. as an adult i learned you are never too old to start a new activity and i learned self defense. my children also made lifelong friends at tigermasters and to this day they hang out and talk and laugh about the "old days" at the school. on Saturdays after class we would hang out in the school long after class ended and master jordan would have to kick us out. my youngest is almost 18 and attends the workout class where he has learned kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight exercises. if you truly want to learn a martial art and not just "play around" this is the school for you. the emphasis is on technique and the love of the art not just getting the next belt read more

My daughter started with Tiger Masters about 3 years ago. She wanted to try something new so we did. She wasn't sure it was for her in the beginning, but as she made friends she like it. All of the students help each other to become better. Tiger Masters has been a second family to her. Before Covid-19 after the belt test all of the students and family members would have a pot luck dinner to celebrate. It's not all fun and games though. It is hard work, but you can see the hard work pay off not only in your children's athletic ability, but discipline. She is now on the competition team and absolutely loves competing. As a mom I was a little hesitant when Master Jordan wanted her to join the team, but after seeing her compete I know she can protect herself. She has been to two competitions and placed first each time. The training, yes training, that the students of all ages receive is the best. They are taught discipline and respect from the very beginning. That is something that will stay with my daughter and all of the students at Tiger Masters. I have also been to a couple of the Ladies classes and they are truly a workout. All of the ladies are very encouraging and help each other through the workouts. Tiger Masters is an amazing school for all ages. When my son started under Master Jordan, he realized that it was a lot of hard work and wanted to give up, but she did not give up on him. She encouraged him, and pushed him to be his best. He has been there at the school for over 2 years now, and has almost reached Black Belt level. Master Jordan is a wonderful teacher, who not only teaches them TKD but, also makes sure that they are doing well in school and outside of her classroom. She is kind and compassionate and cares for each of her students individually. She takes the time to learn each of them, and teach them in a way she knows they will learn. My son now has a new group of friends, as well as a mentor that even I can look up to as an adult. I would and do recommend this school to any and all of my friends who's children need an activity that will keep them busy and help them learn discipline and hard work. My son has been in multiple TKD tournaments with Tiger Masters now, and I could not ask for better coaches than Master Jordan, and Master Anthony. Tiger Masters TKD has been a great school for our full family. Training is on an individual level, even in group classes. Master Jordan has a great eye and many years of experience with all levels of skills and abilities (of all ages). I started classes and my journey about 1 year after my son joined. The Best Of The Best!!! Preparation for the real world is the premise of tiger masters. The teaching style may not be liked by all but the kids who become young adults after training at this place is the best I've seen. My children and I started and still continue to learn and grow from the teaching. I started training here when I was 10 years old. It was hard at first because I was just starting, but of course I got over it. I been training for over 10 years and I have got nothing but love and support for this school. Master Jordan does her absolute best to push you beyond your limits and make you feel great about yourself. The classes are easy, fun, and you learn self-defense.
