As a homeowner and the owner of a rental property, I have had more than a few instances where I had to call in help to fix an appliance. I have used this company over the years to repair a dishwasher, dryer, fridge, and oven. I have always found them to be responsive to requests for help, prompt in providing service, knowledgeable about the appliance they were asked to repair, and willing to explain what the issues were. They showed up exactly when they said they would and (upon request) called ahead to let me know they were on their way. I am currently using a home warranty program. Recently I had a problem with my dishwasher and the home warranty program sent out a technician from a different repair company. They did arrive promptly but kept changing the diagnosis and said they could not repair the dishwasher because the part was no longer available. I insisted on a second opinion with the home warranty program and specifically requested they send Advanced Appliance. Advanced Appliance were able to diagnose the problem and fix my dishwasher. Thank goodness the home warranty program utilized the services of Advanced Appliance and Air Repair. I now know I need to request them up front any time I have any issues with any of my appliances.

After looking at the dishwasher for a few minutes he removed what he called a 'childs ball' and gave us a quote to repair the motor. The 'ball' was actually a check valve. He then looked at the ice maker and said that its frozen up which he said he fixed. All he did was take out the frozen ice. My husband ordered the part and we have now fixed that. In the end we paid him$140 and he fixed nothing. Furthermore, b/c he removed the check valve he basically flooded our kitchen. We are now waiting for the new dishwasher to be delivered. Furthermore, he said he was a licensed contractor however, when I questioned him further he admitted that his license has expired.
