We were impressed that Ray showed up a short time later and worked late into the evening to complete the repair. Ray was so personable and effective in his work that we asked him if he could address a couple of other dry wall issues that needed to be resolved. He happily agreed and bid a fair price for the work. And, even better, he addressed those issues in the same visit. I highly recommend Ray and RR-Remodeling!

I reached out to him through Yelp's request a quote feature. I had about 600 SQ ft downstairs that I wanted painted white with a blue accent, as well as my kitchen cabinets painted. Ryan was prompt with an estimate and was willing to give me a ballpark range without coming to the house. That's something most others would not do. He was also about 40% less then other contractors. Once he came out we settled on a price and scheduled the job. The job took about a week, Ryan and his crew are extremely detailed! They did not get any paint on something that should not have been painted etc. Ryan and his team are made of genuinely good guys anf you can't go wrong with them.

They return phone calls incredibly fast and they will work in any changes you may have. I found them to be honest and hard working every day that they are there. They are fair with costs and how much they charge per job and you walk away knowing that you got fabulous value for what they charged you. We had work done in all rooms including the addition of an Arizona Room , but for us it was a sewing room. Did it matter what the room was for? Yes in this instance it did, because I needed an excessive amount of light. They did a magnificent job, you couldn't even tell that the room was added on. They built the gazebo we had and they added a small putting green for the beginner golfers in us. They added new closet doors on our new closets. They did various electrical work in the house. They added a keyless entry onto our doors and did some work in the garage. They built us the best carport with a noiseless remote door. Anything we asked them to do they were able to do. John chose to place a Mechanical Lien on my property. I resolved the lien debt back in early April and he has promised on several occasions that the lien would be removed. Come to find out from the company he uses to service liens he never paid the bill. He has been challenging to deal with and will make a lot of promises to get the money but once he gets the money. Good luck on him fulfilling on those promises. I am now having to employ an attorney to motivate and deal with John as he is in violation of not removing the lien. Not sure what is going on with this man but I would never do business with him again. If you want any additional details please reach out to me directly.

Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. I had to pull up a reciept and push the issue. Then someone else got on the phone and said maybe i should call a lock smith. You guys were not extremely helpful at first untill i almost broke my ankle trying to climb out my backyard to get into my house....again the misters have been on twice for a party maybe 3 hours each time.... we had them with our other property and your doors no issues.... your door has issues.. .we have multiple doors that we purchased from you guys on this property and none have these issues just this one. Even your tech said the door unhooked at the bottom and he did not know why. When we looked at the door i saw the rust. Theres something wrong with the door! I had to climb my wall to get out of my backyard because it locked me out. Sorry a 3800 door should not be doing this. Then after he left he did not screw the screws in properly and i got a bad cut from him stripping the side of the screw and not fully screwing it in flush! For the shutters I was shown something and did sign something however what was installed was darker then what I actually picked. When they showed up to install the lady had a huge attitude and practically argued with me . She then presented me something and it was not what I had picked she claimed it was. I dont know your process but it also did not match what was installed! You guys need to do better. Just know you have lost a customer whose whole family has been coming to you for years ... guess I learned my lesson next time ill be at Lowes getting doors that actually open and close.no recommendations coming from me!

We had a very small residential job--a couple cabinet doors and drawer faces needing aligned and some "soft close" drawer mechanisms fixed. I called and spoke to James on Jan 15th Monday. He agrees to come over the next morning, Jan 16th Tues. He informs me during the call that he has a $100 trip charge and he'd need to come assess the situation with our drawers as he may not have some of the parts available. "Ok no problem." He arrives, makes a few adjustments, seems nice enough and explains his business is not far away in Mesa. We pay the $100 trip charge + 1hr of labor ($185 total). He actually worked for 45 minutes, which I know because I have cameras with time stamps from the time he walks in with tools to the time he left. James says he needs to source parts to fix the drawers and he'd get back to us. "Sure no problem" About a week passes and I hear nothing so I finally text him Jan 22nd to check status--he texts back the next day that he found parts ($200) and estimates 1.5hr labor plus another $100 trip charge ($433+). I said "really another trip charge?" He states "yes I have a trip charge for all of my installs." At this point I just felt like we were being fleeced. His business is less than 20 minutes away in Mesa (we're in South Scottsdale). He essentially left with the job incomplete and made $185; having barely done anything. I explained to him that I felt another trip charge seemed excessive but he did not respond. I could MAYBE understand the trip charge if the travel distance was significant or if it was a large-scale, complex job that required transporting a lot of equipment & material but this was neither. We are a normal family in a residential home. We are not a commercial entity that can write blank checks to contractors for ridiculous and frivolous charges. Customers be aware he may try to run up the bill on you and could leave you hanging. I do not think this is a very prudent business practice and he certainly does not seem to put the customer first.
