These two crooks juan Tijerina aka Johnny Tijerina his partner Jesse aka Jesus Sanchez aka Jesse aka Jesus Garza, they will go to your house give you a good estimate on concrete work. When you give them a deposit they show up that day or one day then disappear. Juan won't return your calls at all and Jesse aka Jesus will return calls promising to come the next day, here we are almost 5 months later. We gave them a deposit of 2,500, four others homeowners gave deposits, one for 3,000, 6,000 and 8,000 and 12,000. The reason we can do nothing is because they come and break concrete or dump dirt and they say that's how much job cost. They are working on the corner of Mansfield Webb Rd. and Grindstone they use our money for this big job with NO SHAME. Please beware home owner. read more

In the end, we're very disappointed with the driveway and the way we were treated. There are already serious cracks in the driveway. We were told by friends who work in the same line of work that they used cheap concrete. They were sloppy and unprofessional. When they poured, they managed to get it all over our garage and the side of the house. We spent many house cleaning it up (and trying to clean it up). They also left cigarette butts and coke bottles everywhere. read more

I called Tijerina Concrete on a Saturday looking for help with installing some footings for a steel Gazebo that I purchased from Lowes. Here is the thing, I needed the work done basically immediately. That was not a problem for Tijerina Concrete. Juan showed up promptly on a Sunday morning with his helper, made forms for the footings, and was done in a few hours. NOT A PROFESSIONAL, CON ARTIST, WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN --- STAY AWAY!!! I hired Juan thinking he was a nice and honest guy that gave me a reasonable bid on a large job. He asked for a large deposit upfront, which I paid as he appeared to be an honest and hardworking person. He worked incredibly hard for the first week removing concrete with his wife and son-in-law and father-in-law. They poured the driveway which was the first half of the job. Unfortunately, they did a sloppy job with splattering all over the garage as well as permanently sealing the garage sliding door so it was unable to open or close. Not the end of the world as they told me they would fix it. I mentioned that I would like this fixed along with the crack along the driveway they told me they would repair. Juan told me he would take care of it. This was never done. Juan told me he needed more money for supplies. I agreed and paid him around 80% of the total contract before he was more than halfway done. HUGE mistake. Juan and his family stopped showing up completely for several weeks blaming it on the rain and on the pump not being available, etc. After being upset with the entire experience, I told Juan I would not pay the last 20% of the job until he completed it. He called me at 5am on the day he was scheduled to pour (this day having been rescheduled several times). I did not answer as I was asleep. I woke up at 6am and called repeatedly and Juan would not answer his phone. The pump contractor showed up out front and Juan was no where to be found. Juan never called or responded for six hours. I was livid and drove to Juan's house (address on the contract) only to find out it wasn't his house at all, but his mother-in-law's. Around noon, Juan finally responded via text (after he hung up when I answered the phone) and said it was my fault because I had told him I wouldn't pay the concrete guy upfront and "an attitude would get me no where". Since the pour a few weeks ago, the concrete in the driveway already has hairline cracks from not leveling the ground underneath. He used very cheap concrete as it continues to crack. He cracked the drain pipe for my pool. I am glad he did not lay the concrete around my pool because I would have had to pay someone else to fix it. This guy is VERY VERY BAD NEWS and I would stay FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!! Not a professional. He wants your $$$ and then its on to the next one before he finishes the job. read more

THIEF! Took my money and hasn't completed the job. Unfortunately I can't give him 0 stars. I gave him 1/2 the money, as it is usually done. It's been a month and a half and has only worked 1 time (and all they did was make mud and break my irrigation pipes). We used Tijerina for a 1200+ sqft driveway, Juan came out and gave us a very reasonable quote. As promised his crew came out on Wednesday and removed a section of asphalt and did all the dirt work and set all the forms. On Friday they poured the concrete, on Saturday they returned and finished the job. Juan and his wife were great to work with. Yolonda is a perfectionist, they take a huge amount of pride in their work and the final result really reflects their attention to detail. Juan really explained what was being done and why. I will be using them again to pour the pad for a garage. It's nice to find a contractor that you can trust, does exactly what was promised, and has a very strong work ethic. Dave Smith read more

While the end product of the driveway turned out acceptable, we had multiple issues. Many days they would not show up at all when they said they would, and were unprofessional in that they never called to notify us they would not be coming. Additionally, they left a large mess including concrete residue splattered all over our windows and side of the house. I just hired Juan Tijerina to extend my patio (approximately 200 sq. ft.). I called Juan and he was able to come out and give me a quote the same day. The best part was he was able to start the very next morning. The next morning, Juan and his crew showed up on time to perform the work and did an outstanding job. Juan even went the extra mile to provide some additional rebar reinforcement underneath where my new hot tub will be sitting. At the end of the job, Juan made sure the entire site was spotless.
