I was VERY reluctant to trust another carpet and upholstery cleaning company after the crappy job…read morethat EcoSuds did on my furniture! I had one stain that I wanted removed on a large white 'chair and a half' so I decided to get that chair along my (matching) couch and Queen Anne chair cleaned with EcoSuds to support a small local business. Thank goodness I did NOT waste my money on getting them to do my downstairs/family room furniture and carpets done at the same time because it was a COMPLETE waste of money! They not only did NOT REMOVE THE STAIN, BUT ADDED STAINS to my large white chair!! Their method left dripping stains all down the bottom front panel of my chair and I had to fight to get them to come back out but it STILL looked as bad!! The owner, Shamus told me that the original stain was the 'best he could do' after trying to 'clean' it again, and supposedly cleaned the mess made by his wife and daughter ~ which came right back after it dried! It took me approximately two YEARS to be willing to trust anyone again but my friend had highly recommended ABERDEEN so I decided to give them a try regardless of cost. I was very pleasantly surprised that their prices were quite similar to EcoSuds so I took the leap of faith and had Corey come and do my nasty looking white chair and matching couch along with 3 bedrooms. Not only did Corey get out the stain that EcoSuds said that they couldn't, but cleaned the stains EcoSuds left behind on my front panel! As for my bedroom carpets, he did a wonderful job on them all....including a blackish stain that I had on all the carpets along all the baseboards. At least two previous carpet cleaners told me that there was 'nothing that could be done' with those black borders! Corey explained to me that it was dust gathered along the base of the baseboards because of the 'airtight' house and the dust had nowhere else to go so all gathered there. Corey also explained to me that, the reason his job was so superior to all the other companies I had previously used was because his machinery was so superior. Apparently most other companies bring a $2,000-$3,000 machine in your home; whereas Aberdeen has a $50,000 piece of equipment that is actually in his vehicle and all the dirt and wet gets sucked right out to that machine in the truck! Obviously it is a very superior method because I am thrilled with the job he did on my furniture and all my carpets! The white carpets that did have stains are all now stain free and I'm really looking forward to getting him back to do the family room furniture and carpet in the fall! Nice guy and hard worker and competitive prices......I don't hesitate for one minute to recommend Corey at Aberdeen Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.
