DO NOT use Tilson Homes to build your house. They do not stand behind their homes. My home is 5 years old and shingles are blowing off my roof and they stated they only warranty workmanship for 1 year. That's pretty convenient for them. Do not do business with this company. They do not honor warranty and blame the problem on the homeowner. Have a breaker on Tankless hot water heater that keeps tripping if I plug anything into an outside outlet. Means all this is on the same circuit. From multiple electrician businesses and internet state that the water heater should be a dedicated circuit. Tilson warranty disagrees and states we have to quit overloading the circuit. So this means I cannot use my outlets. They want me to pay for repairs due to me overloading the circuit. No where in the warranty does it state I cannot plug things up to outside outlets because the water heater breaker will trip. The electrician company they called for repairs also not good. We have no hot water. They are wanting to schedule 10-14 days out from now and the lady from Speedy AC and electric very rude. STAY AWAY! read more

Terrible company that won't honor warranty. They blame the homeowner for failing to maintain foundation. When I told them I run my sprinkler system 20 minutes 2X a week I was told that was not enough. I've owned homes since 1980 and never had a foundation problem. The house this property sits on is adjacent to my 100 year old main home, pier and beam and has no foundation problems. I hired a structural engineered who stated the crack is a structural issue. Do not do business with these people. The amount of unprofessional behavior I have encountered is almost too absurd to believe. They will not communicate anything to you and use the excuse that the sales and building teams are uninformed and inexperienced. It's going to cost us thousands to fix what they didn't/won't do.
