Edited to add: We…read morehave now found 2 leaks in our month old roof. After getting the roof inspected, the inspector believes that Clay used "seconds"(shingles that don't meet the manufacturer's standards for first-quality products). We have repeatedly asked Clay to send the proof of purchase to the manufacturer to confirm our warranty and he has not done so, leaving us with no warranty coverage for our roof. We hired Clay Stensby of Rafter S Construction to reframe and shingle our home after a house fire. Rafter S left the new decking untarped before a storm, flooding areas of the home that we had previously paid to have professionally dried (with completed drying logs). Clay told us he carried insurance, but the carrier confirmed the policy had been canceled for non-payment. He did pay for one drying crew, but that crew's own report says multiple areas couldn't be dried and must now be torn out and replaced--repairs we're paying for. We've held back part of the contract price, though it's nowhere near the new damage cost. Instead of paying for the damage, Clay has indicated he'll file a lien on our home. We also later learned that some of the photos on Rafter S Construction's Yelp page may not show their actual work. Another contractor we spoke with recognized several of the images and informed us they were completed by other builders. If you decide to hire Clay, I would suggest verifying if the pictures with a post date of April 21, 2025 were indeed completed by Rafter S Construction. Overall, this situation has been draining, both emotionally and financially. We would not recommend hiring Clay or Rafter S Construction for any projects, regardless of size.

From multiple electrician businesses and internet state that the water heater should be a dedicated circuit. Tilson warranty disagrees and states we have to quit overloading the circuit. So this means I cannot use my outlets. They want me to pay for repairs due to me overloading the circuit. No where in the warranty does it state I cannot plug things up to outside outlets because the water heater breaker will trip. The electrician company they called for repairs also not good. We have no hot water. They are wanting to schedule 10-14 days out from now and the lady from Speedy AC and electric very rude. STAY AWAY!

Very quickly though, he became very unresponsive. after two weeks of follow ups, with little to no response. It was to the point where I reached out to another agent at the brokerage, Shelley. He was typically very responsive (besides about a week and an half stretch where I didn't hear from him) and seemed eager to figure out a way to get the land sold. However, it seemed he didn't have any decision making power, as the general response to anything was " let me run this by greg". Our piece of land was certainly not a straight forward list and sell situation, but I spent two months going back and forth with them. There were plenty of opportunities for them to tell me they maybe didn't feel all the work was worth it. But Just when it seemed we were going to get somewhere, Shelley no longer responded and Greg himself actually reached out to me. And he texted me to tell me they wouldn't list it for us. Essentially they just didn't feel it was worth their time. Which again I don't necessarily blame them for, but I felt they strung me along for 2 months, wasting both my and their time.
