I was hete yesterday and today asked for a framers warp no egg on both of the warps were egg I also order a ice coffee mad with milk so I ask them is this milk there said yes it had cream in it I also asked if the warp has egg in it there said no the guy I was giving the warp to can't have egg he will thow up so I told the "manger" she was like ok want a new one. it hasn't been n good night right for me. with a critically ill family number in the intensive care unit, I was sent to get refreshments for my distressed mother and I before heading to the hospital..as such my experiences at Timmies tonight should be seen through those lenses. Nothing really went all that wrong though, but some things do bear mentioning. Even though it was pretty dead inside the establishment, given that it was 10pm, there was a small crowd of "gentlemen" (and i do use the term exceedingly lightly) crowding around the front entrance, smoking, spitting and loudly gesticulating vulgarities in no particularly discernable direction. I did brush it off as just L. Sackville being L .Sackville but it did cross my mind that I probably wouldn't want my sister or mother anywhere near there by themselves after dusk (and I'm by no means an old fashioned chauvinist). Inside there was only one old man in front of me, but the rude old cooter was insistently trying to buy coffee beans and then exchanging them for different ones and then asking the one cashier how they were supposed to be prepared to make coffee. Hysterically the cashier had no idea how to actually brew coffee, and the old cooter was not to be waylaid by other people in line (WHO for heavens sakes goes shopping for bulk coffee at Tim Hortons at 10pm?). To top it all off he didn't speak a word of English, and then had the gall to try and haggle price with the cashier... By this point i was starting to lose my s^*&& but reigning it in because i needed to be there for my family.. SOO Eventually I got to order. My favorite sandwich there is the ham and swiss with honey mustard.. Disappointingly they no longer carry the large size which is baguette style.. Now its this super crusty ciabatta which by the time you've bitten hard enough to get through the crust, the entire contents has since started escaping out the sides.. Ughghghgh. .. Why are corporations so stupid? Also, they pulled a pet peeve of mine I like to call the faux-half... The sandwich looks perfectly cut in half, but little do you know, the careless underpaid line cook or whatever neglected to cut all the way through to the bottom of the over-crustified ciabatta sandwich. So I reach into the bag expecting a nice half sandwich to pop out, but instead out comes a half attached full sandwich...half of which's contents has since gone all over my lap... Spending the rest of the night in hospital waiting rooms with sticky honey mustard is not what i spent my childhood nights dreaming of doing when/if i grew up.. Anyhow its been a long sleepless night but I will once again be heading to Tim Hortons of course.. Its my Canadian duty..(even though i live in the USA lol) read more

I hate to be hating on Lower Sackville, but this Tim Horton's leaves a lot to be desired. I will fully admit that I don't like Tim Horton's coffee, but I was was working nearby, and the thought of a burger chain for lunch churned my stomach. I clearly ordered the vegetable harvest soup combo, but the unfriendly clerk didn't hear combo. Even though I was ordering all the items in said combo she still didn't clue in. I assumed she did, paid, and waited for my order, assuming I would get my choice of doughnut when she came back. Didn't happen, I thought maybe the photo was wrong, I asked if I was supposed to get one with a combo. She gave a little laugh and was like yes, but you'd have to order the combo. Gahh! Long story short, the soup needed a ton of spices and seasonings... I decided to give it another try because I was early for work and hungry. I ordered a plain bagel, toasted. The second, unfriendly server told me they don't have plain bagels (seriously) so I asked what they did have. She rolled her eyes and waved her hand at the bagel selection, which due to the distance, the fact that I wasn't wearing glasses and the glare meant I could not read it. I didn't want spit in my coffee, so I didn't press the issue and went with the usually safe everything option. The bagel, even after being toasted still seemed undercooked, blech. None of the workers looked even remotely happy to be there and moved at a snails pace. Look I totally understand that it is a difficult, unglamorous job, but let's be real here. My first job was at Dairy Queen (and making banana splits involves a lot more work than pouring coffee, without the tips), and even on my crankiest day, I never would have waved my hand at the board when asked what flavors the milkshakes come in. I don't really care where a business is located, the upmost priority to any business should be customer satisfaction. The staff at the Lower Sackville Tim Hortons don't give a damn about delivering customer service, let alone a quality product made the way it's supposed to be. I wish my negative experience was limited to only one visit, however that is not the case. I frequent this location quite often as I don't have a car to make it worth while to go to a different store, and every time I leave disappointed. Over the last 20 years I've worked in every level of the service industry, and this store is by far one of the worst. Walking in, on average you can wait at least a minute before someone takes your order. You're not greeted with a smile; most often just a blank stare. If the cashier actually realizes that they do in fact carry certain items such as flavoured lattes, most of them don't know how to make them and will simply guess. If paying with cash, the staff will automatically assume the change goes to them and will place it on the counter rather than in your hand. (I must mention that this habit is not limited to just this one location, they all seem to do it which in turn leaves me with no desire to tip at all.) After all of this you may think that the bad service would be at an end, however this location manages to disappoint even more by dropping your order on the counter, and walking away. (no offer of trays, you have to do it yourself, and God forbid they smile and thank you for your patronage) And even after all of this, the final kicker is when you get home and find out that your order's been made wrong and your cups are only 3/4's full!
