You could enjoy them with coffee, but coffee isn't obligatory to cut the sweet. The doughnut was a doughnut. Considering this is a pretty remote location and Kelly's has been operating for 40 years, they definitely are doing something right. Service was pleasant and efficient, and appreciated.

My DIL and I each had a veggie soup, and shared a turkey and Swiss sandwich and chips. And we each ordered a coffee. Very good; just enough without being overwhelming. We also ordered a 6-pack of cookies. This was a good stop where I would absolutely go back!! PS: a little back story... apparently this Korean bakery started in a market stall, and worked their way up to this shop. There are several tables to choose from. Since I love cupcakes and had some time to kill, I decided to walk in. As I opened the door, I walked into a delicious, sweet smell of cupcakes. I reached the counter and saw the different cupcakes. After staring for a good 10 minutes, I decided on the strawberry daiquiri. The cake was soft with bits of strawberries. The frosting wasn't too sweet and went perfect with the cake. It was probably one of the best cupcakes I ever had. I was a bit disappointed that I had to limit myself to one cupcake (I've been eating since the cruise started). They did have a mini cupcake sampler set that had a lot of their flavors. It also looks like they do cakes too. It was a very cute shop with fun and adorable decoration. We decided to stop in at Mrs. Dunster's Kitchen Retail Store to check it out and to pick up some baked goods to bring home. The "not so fancy" bakery store sells donuts, nuggets, breads, rolls, cookies, cinnamon rolls, pies, decorated cakes, muffins, tea biscuits, and other treats. Most of the baked goods are packaged and ready to go. Hot coffee to go, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, pizza, and homemade soups are also sold here. We purchased a bag of Molasses Donuts, a bag of Butter Garlic Cheese Buns (10), and English Muffins - Cheese (6), which came out to just under $10. We ate some Donuts during the ride, which were soft and sweet tasting. The Garlic Cheese Buns (heated in toaster) were a very good accompaniment (contains lard) with our turkey dinners. The English Muffins-Cheese also tasted very good, but did not have the typical firm & chewy texture and had more of a breadlike texture. The packaged Mrs. Dunster's Donuts & Nuggets can also be found in stores throughout Atlantic Canada and in Maine (sold at Hannaford), not far from my home.

The place felt more like a church basement or cafeteria then it did a coffee shop. Kind of industrial-looking. I wouldn't say it was warm and cozy. The goods: We ordered lattes and they were solid. I think I prefer Duo, but this is still a decent place to get coffee if you're not a fan of Starbucks or Tim's. Service: OK. Price point: I didn't pay so I'm not sure.
