Although the coffee was really tasty (I had the medium roast), what really impressed me were the teas! What do you call those flowery jasmine scented ones that blossom in the teapot? You don't see them for sale just everywhere! I got a few as gifts; they're 70 cents each. You walk into the main serving area where you go to the counter to order and pay, and pass through to the next room where there are couches and a high table with chairs. Free wi-fi - just ask for the access code. The young man at the counter was very informative and knowledgeable, and not shy to share the details! Incidentally, they have a section of items for sale near the entry door. Usually, they carry cup sleeves which look to be hand crochet. Neat oh! However, on this visit, they were sold out. Time for me to get the needles and yarn out! Oh yeah!! Beware their hours, though: they're only open 8:00am to 5:00pm during the week, and only 8:00 - 1:00 on Saturdays. Picture your perfect pie…read more Mine starts with a crust that's firm, not flaky, and has a nutty taste that makes me want to eat the crust by itself. Then the filling. I'm usually a chocolate guy but with pies, it has to be a fruit filling. But what fruit? Well, it has to be classic like blueberry but also tarty like cherry but also popping like grape. So yeah, I kinda have an impossible dream pie right? Well, there's a little shop in Simcoe right off the highway that makes amazing pies and tarts and other baked goodies. And while all those are good, some time every July is when Harmony gets 5+++ stars from me. Because that's when they come out with their saskatoon berry pies. If you've never had saskatoon berry, it's a cross between blueberry+cherry+grape with an overlay of a nutty taste. And in pie form? Perfection.

There's a seating area and some items you can purchase near the back. My boyfriend ordered an Americano (of course), and for me, a latte. The Americano came out quite hot so it took him a while to finish it but he said it was good. My latte was creamy and delicious. I wish there was a bit more in the cup and a touch warmer but either way, I was very pleased. They use beans that are roasted locally which is a nice plus! It's a cute spot to visit with a friend or quietly sit and contemplate life while looking out the front window. Get on board and go!

They also serve light lunches, but I came here for the sweets. They have a cute, covered patio where you can enjoy your food. However, during my visit, I saw lotsa locals swing by to grab takeout! It's not cheap (cake slices ~$6), but the Urban Slice that I had was FRESH, not too sweet! I would've loved to have picked up more items, but I just came from the farmer's market with a pack of butter tarts, so anything else would've been OTT. Cute place with quality baked goods!
