I purchased an Altima today from this dealership and thought I had a great experience, but only to find out once I got home and looked closer over the paperwork...that they lied right to my face. It ended up being a very disappointing experience for two reasons. One, the price quoted to me prior to arriving, once I arrived in person, and listed online was lower than what I was ultimately charged. Without any prior notice, they added an extra $500 to the agreed-upon price on the Altima. This lack of transparency and honesty is unacceptable and is simply a mistake or bad business practices. Two, the car had over 1,000 more miles than advertised online and shown on the initial quote I was sent. I'm not worried about the $500 or the extra miles as much as the principle behind it. I strongly feel this review is warranted. l would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a trustworthy car-buying experience. I guess all I'm trying to say is don't be a dummy like me and believe everything you're told & always thoroughly read your contract before signing one in the finance office at this dealership. read more

I'm not the type of person to write a bad review or to take things far, but I recently purchased a vehicle from here that has had nothing but issues since the day I got it, I drove 10 hours for this vehicle and was told it was in great shape and nothing was wrong with it, despite being worried about the Carfax, that was terrible and not shown on their website, I was assured the car was gonna be fine not only cosmetically but mechanically. I trusted them and made my way to get this vehicle. When I got there I test drove it and the car looked and smelled like it was not cleaned on the inside, which I figured they just didn't have the time to do it or not enough staff due to the flooding they were dealing with, so I didn't let it bother me too much, but the I also found that the car had some sort of knocking noise in the front while driving and a broken trim piece inside the car, in which their delivery driver agreed he also heard the knocking noise so I let them know this needs to be addressed before I signed any papers and they said the warranty I purchased from them should cover it, if not they would take care of it. I get the car back home and the oil light then turns on (and has been on 4 times in the two weeks I've had it), I also noticed the side view mirror is barely attached to the car, and the vehicles suspension starts to sag to the ground only on one side every time I park it over night , along with the car jerking while I drive it, and course with the knocking noise I noticed when I test drove it getting progressively worse. I brought the car to my local Audi dealership and come to find out it's burning oil, and there's something wrong with the air suspension, and the warranty company will not cover these issues with the car and the Tim Short Chrysler said they're not putting any money into the car because they lost money on it, therefore they won't fix it. They did send me a check for $500.00 dollars to cover the broken trim pieces but this check wouldn't cover half of what it would've been to fix them. So Tim Short Chrysler leaves me with two options, either trade the car with them (they have no inventory comparable to the car I bought) or trade it with someone else, in which I not only would lose a ton of money doing so, but that would be giving their problem to someone else! I feel that they should take this vehicle back, give me my money back, and send it to auction where it should of went to begin with! So here I am stuck with a vehicle that I don't even feel comfortable driving, and I have to play the waiting game and hope they maybe get a vehicle in that is decent to trade in too. The buying process was great, and my salesperson has been nothing but kind through this whole situation, but the dealer is not, and will not do anything to help me, and will not take the car back because they don't want to deal with it! Now my only option is to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Kentucky State Attorney General to make complaints. I hate taking it this far but this is not fair to the consumer! Be careful buying vehicles from here as all they do is change the oil and throw them on the lot to make a sale, not knowing how they are mechanically. read more

I bought a classic car from these folks and boy did they down right lie about the vehicle. I found where they purchased the car the year before, and they basically plagiarized that add changing only the motor to more collectable motor. When I called them out on it they had nothing to say. The brake pedal went to the floor, the car over heated after 15 minutes, the transmission leaked. Not one single part in the front end was new, even though their add had it listed for all new parts. They lied about the millage, heck the speedometer didnt even work. Their salesman Shawn Owens just kept on lying. He even made a video where he lies all about the car knowing none of that stuff was correct. They have gone silent after telling me they would take care of some of things.. Not a penny from them. UPDATE: I have noticed they do not clean their vehicles,so most of the time they're dusty.This isn't really an issue for me.Now the big issues.Today I was chuckled at.I'm not sure if he was an employee,but he drove a vehicle into the pre-owned space,so I am taking that he is an employee.I was looking at a 2015 at the time.I guess he thought we were "average" class and couldn't afford it,due to the state our vehicle is in.However,I must say we are wealthier than "average" and can buy any vehicle on that lot,upfront,in cash.The second major issue is that the employees chew tobacco and leave their spit bottles in the lot AND in the vehicles.I'm very disappointed.Today has impacted my view on Tim Short Chrysler,Hazard KY. read more

We currently have two dodge vehicles at out fleet location. My present vehicle, a 2011 Ram Pickup, 3/4t, crew cab, is currently in the shop there - for the 6th time in the past 12 months. It's a pure lemon, with less than 34,000 miles on it. I've taken it there twice in the past two weeks for an engine light and rough running, and they can't tell me what the issue is. Today they won't even answer the phone. I'll never purchase a Dodge or Chrysler product due to this performance issue. I have a Chevy at home that's 21 years old and still runs like the day I bought it. read more
