The hospital is near and so is shopping at HEB and an elementary school that I went to as a kid....Treasure Hills Elementary. This place is right for any size family. So, what is the definition of FINAL??? What about you needing to repaint the apartment from all of the WATER DAMAGE from the photos I uploaded. Another way to get a previous tenant to pay for your upkeep at the end. These are the same people who say you're a great tenant, never paying late, never having a complaint against you!!!!! I payed my account in FULL and yet they are still trying to EXTORT MONEY from a DISABLED VETERAN. I HAVE nothing else to do but spread the word and let people know what this complex is ready to lead you into. I would rather live in a TENT than live here. The downstairs neighbor complains of noise, It got to the point where I couldn't walk in certain areas of my apartment because of floorboards making noise from LIGHTLY stepping on, yet I have complained of ROTTEN FLOORBOARDS. Don't fall for this trap. When coming over to see the place, ask them to see the entire place and ask them WHY are there place that seem to be falling apart without being fixed? The office staff always had a smile, Belinda was very friendly and quick Witt, I never experienced any problems with the staff, they were very helpful in any questions I may have had. Can't say enough about the maintenance crew (Joe and Saul), these guys were always on the ball, very friendly and I never had to request any maintenance more than once, they got things done right away. I have lived in different states with about a handful of different apartments…read more I can say with the strongest conviction that these apartments have been the absolute worst for numerous reasons. 1) in my almost 2 years of living here there has been about 3-4 complete changes in staff. I feel like every 3-5 months there are completely new people working the front. 2) every time I talk to a staff member they are lackadaisical in their demeanor and they way they answer my questions. 3) they have numerous add ons to your monthly rent so I ended up paying over $1,300 a month for a two bedroom. Which is what you expect for an apartment in Austin or San Antonio... but not Harlingen. It would have been reasonable if that price also came with nice interiors... but out of all the apartments I have lived in, valor has been the absolute worst. There are numerous NEW apartments and townhomes being built in Harlingen. Valor should be your absolute LAST CHOICE.
