They are really big on confirmations & logistics. They are super duper organized. (Idk why but I always worry dinner shows are always so rushed and disorganized from prior experiences.) I love that they can handle large & small groups. They def know how to work the room. I love how organized and professional they all are. Some busy places can't do that. Ya'll i didn't know they had pool! For $20 you could be swimming in the pool area. Kicking it! You get to have option of ordering off brunch or dinner menu over there. Would def recommend for change of scenery. I tried the Crab cheesecake. It was so good! I wasn't expecting it to be. I saw it and was like what the heck, why not. No other people on Yelp took a picture or probably ordered it. It was such & creamy with fresh lump crabmeat. (Imagine a cream cheese seafood stuffed pepper minus the pepper.) it had some sauce with it that really paired well with it. That mimosa I had was strong. I watched them make them, soooooo yes. Honestly, the show needed a little more variety. One of the servers said he had auditioned as a dancer but they didn't have a spot, but I would argue they very much do. It would have been nice to see more than 3 performers. They do give change, so if you're worried about getting cash from an ATM or that you only have big bills, worry no more! They have a guy that goes around at the start of the show and gives change. Service was good, mimosa ratios were great. Food was also good. We had the pork chops, crab curry bisque, and truffle mac and cheese. All were great, especially the crab curry bisque. I'm not sure how you get bar seats, but that seemed like the place to be. It's where all the performers seemed to start and had the best view.

I didn't hear back by 4-13, so I called back and left a message. I didn't hear back, so I called on 4-14 and spoke with Mike P., who said he was busy and would call me back. I didn't hear back so I called on 4-15 and was told by the proshop they were real busy and to call back. I asked the nameof the GM. They said there wasn't a GM only an AGM? They transferred me to a voice mail. I called back and tried the operator and got voice mail. I called back a couples hours later and tried the operator. A woman named Ming answered. I asked if the AGM was there she said no. She asked if she could help. I asked her her title. She said she was the owner. I explained to her what I was going through with the pro shop. Her comments were "they are very busy". At that point I understood why the service is so bad. It's coming from the top. I wouldn'd book a linch, golf outing or anything at English Turn. The customer service is terrible based on what I experienced!

First of all, the pool area was a good size and there was plenty of room for families and other spectators to spread out on the grounds surrounding the pool. I've attended so many meets where we were crammed in like sardines, but that wasn't the case here. I was also happy with the food and snack situation. I had a pulled pork sandwich and fries that really hit the spot. Both were tasty and best of all, $5! The portions were generously sized. There were other choices - hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwich - but I saw folks walking around with those and knew the pulled pork was the winner of the bunch. The coaches and parents at Terrytown were welcoming and kind.

It's a good size with a snack stand, spots to rent, if you want to have a party, and a lifeguard on duty. On the day I was here it was pretty chill, because it's the end of the season and I guess people now have better things to do on the weekends than go swimming. From what I understand, it gets packed during the summer. I don't swim enough to buy a membership, but if you like spending your summer in a pool, this is a good option.

For $70, they should be ashamed of themselves. Even the parking lot is filled with weeds. I won't be surprised if this place is shut down within the next few months. Went on a windy, chilly Friday mid-morning for the first use my husband's Crescent City Golf Card…read morehe received for Christmas. Sort of Off-the-beaten path; you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't have directions. Not very crowded this particular day, so my husband was processed quickly. There was a $15 charge for me to ride and not play, which isn't unusual. The golf shop itself is very small without a lot of offerings. Breakfast was ready-made mini muffaletta sandwiches grabbed for $3, and a beer was available too. The mini muffalettas were surprisingly very tasty. Lunch was a Bridge 28 burger, medium, with fries, and a pound of A&W Catering chicken salad. The burger was huge and very good ($12), and the one pound of chicken salad ($15) was phenomenal! Morning and afternoon bartenders were both friendly, and A&W employee was very pleasant. Joe was the golf course marshal we encountered on the course. He was knowledgeable of the course and of the game, and he was personable enough to talk to "the wife" who doesn't play golf and zones out about 2 min into a golf conversation. The course came with a hole guide - which we haven't found at the other 2 courses he's played locally. Loved that there was a port-a-potty at hole 15. LOTS of water traps on this course, so beware. The ride was pleasant and the scenery quieting. They host what appears to be quite a few meals to eat on location or to go. There are also plans for expansion of the F&B and venue offerings at the course, which I'm looking forward to enjoying. We plan on coming back for more!
