Customer service isn't up to par. The current staff is not living up to the history of this place. A stater named Gavin, stopped me and my family as we made the turn and demanded I show him my proof of payment. Although, both other members in our group showed Gavin their receipts, when I couldn't find my receipt, Gavin demanded I go back to the club house to get a new receipt printed. Totally unacceptable!

COVID-19 update: So I write this review as I brought my nephew for his tennis lesson and watched…read morewhile he played. I must say that they've really upgraded their tennis courts back from when I took lessons here a long time ago (back when the courts were across from Storyland! Haha :)). I appreciate that they are taking COVID-19 restrictions seriously. There is a sign on the door that masks are required. Once you get in the clubhouse you see the staff wearing masks and I believe there is plexiglass at the front desk where you would rent a court. As soon as you go through the clubhouse there is a deck with several tables and chairs. Then you see the huge tennis ball by the main court with stands. The courts look very well maintained and still pretty new! There were lots of kids taking lessons outdoors. I was able to sit at a covered bench while watching my nephew play and people stayed socially distant from each other. I was even impressed that the ladies restroom was clean and had signage limiting the number of people inside to 2 people to try and enforce social distancing! Happy tennis playing!

Vernon (ice cream bar attendant), Mya (our personal hostess), Jennifer (event coordinator), and Anthony (bartender), were all outstanding--friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Their energy and positivity never wavered throughout our 7-hour event, and they made such an impression that it felt like they were part of the celebration. We reserved the Game Parlor along with four lanes, which gave our guests plenty of space to relax and enjoy themselves. The venue itself has a beautiful aesthetic, so it doesn't require much décor--but we appreciated the flexibility to personalize the space. The staff also contributed creative ideas and hands-on support to ensure every detail--from presentation to amenities--was exactly right. I truly can't say enough about how grateful I am that we chose Fulton Valley. I've attended events there before as a guest, but this was my first time hosting--and it exceeded every expectation. We got in the field finally, was told there was no smoking and we would have to leave to smoke, but could not come back in. I've been twice for a ballroom dance competition for kids called the Mindsteppers competition as well as a dance recital. There's plenty of parking nearby since where the neutral ground would normally be, they've created angled parking spots. It's the only place in the city where I've seen this, and honestly it's kind of ingenious and this city could use more parking like that as well as more community centers like this one.
