I went in here years ago and I remember more gardening stuff. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't much for the garden. They do have a little though. Charge way to much to get in, even charged for the driver of a show car. Fewer vendors each year as this once great show dies slowly like a fish out of water. The entire fairgrounds used to get filled with vendors, now less than 1/2 full. I realize Midland County most likely has raised the cost to rent the grounds, but at what cost to the show quality and numbers? I had enjoyed this show for decades, back when the flea market was big, the food vendors were all over, and you had a good car show and sales lot. NOT anymore. R.I.P. MI Antique Fest

Plus, I was surprised with a free ticket to get in the next day. $10 is a deal for shopping, being outside in a beautiful park, good food and getting back to normal. I love a company that gives back to their community! Also, I bought a very cool dresser and some heavy glass and a very handsome fireman assisted me with getting it back to my vehicle. Just a buyer beware. We gave a deposit for a buffet and I understand the paperwork said it was a…read morenon-refundable deposit. However, the paperwork also said it would be 6 months to get. Well, 6 months rolled by and we were told it would be at least another 2 months. So I finally decided to cancel the order and asked if they would split the deposit with me (I was only asking for 1/2 the deposit amount back) - they told me no. I can't imagine the person making it had it made and/or not even had the wood yet for the project and even if they had the wood, it could have been used for another order from someone else. Just make sure if you purchase something you really want it and are willing to wait for it for a long time. We were very disappointed that they would not work with us at all on the partial deposit refund. Not good customer service or way to keep a potential future customer.
