It turns out the clock's working parts are actually a rare American made bell strike made in the late 1700's or early 1800's. He restored this beautiful clock and it is working perfectly. It now keeps perfect time and the chime is working after being silent for 30 years! Captain Mike repaired several hundred years of botched repairs.
