He offered advice on how to make things run more smoothly and made us feel so comfortable in trusting him with keeping the night upbeat and moving along. He made announcements seamlessly and was able to keep the dance floor going the whole night while making sure we were informed with everything going on. For the ceremony, Todd provided the officiant and groom with clip-on wireless microphones so there were no microphones in the pictures. The sound quality was perfect. Todd was prepared with a back-up microphone, but it was not needed. Todd was also able to take our playlist requests and create the exact vibe we were looking for. During our prep call with Todd, he made sure to take note of the songs we absolutely wanted to hear...along with those we absolutely did not. Todd kept the dance floor packed all night. Silver Sound was extremely professional and easy to work with, and we were so glad that we had Todd as our DJ for such a momentous occasion.

But as soon as we talked to Jamie we knew that we were in good hands. With a strong background but a chill relaxed vibe, he was great at walking us through everything, asking the right questions and getting pumped at our inspiration playlists. The day of... he exceeded all expectations. He coordinated everything with our timeline, gave us a good heads up for first dance/parent dances, and had ALL of our friends asking how we found him or wondering if we gave him a set playlist because of how in tune with us all of the music was. Truth is, we only gave him a handful of must plays, some idea of what we like to listen (and party) to and let him do his thing. The most special part was that after all was said and done, Jamie gave us a recording of the night. What?! He met with us several times to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted, and he helped us to make a timeline for the day-of. He was extremely patient as my (then) fiancé and I realized we were relatively unsure of what we wanted in terms of music and an emcee. Wesley was so instrumental in helping us think through the logistics of the day and offered valuable suggestions. Working with him was refreshing-he is very passionate about his art and was focused on making us happy! On the actual day, he came prepared and made it a wonderful day for us and the guests. Everyone had a great time and, when there was a lull in the actual dancing (you know, end of night, people are tired), he actually got everyone back out there! His energy as an emcee was infectious. After your guests have eaten, they are looking to have a good time and that is what Wesley provided. When we asked for last minute requests or accidentally did something out-of-order on our timeline, he was smooth and rolled with it. We met with Marc on FaceTime/Zoom about 3 different times to share our vision and brainstorm ways to engage our guests. Marc not only listened to what we wanted, he also made some wonderful recommendations - for example, he recommended doing an anniversary dance to see who from our guests was the couple married the longest. He then asked the couple for advice for our marriage and we got a picture with them. That created such a special memory for us. We found that Marc did a great job of working the room, identifying music that worked based on the vibe and the timing of the night. He did a fantastic job of introducing the bridal parties and making announcements. He is not the type of DJ who yells into a microphone all night. Instead, he encourages guests' engagement through his tone and conviction. At one point in the night, he miscommunicated with our venue and Marc stepped up immediately. It became apparent that we would need to conduct the "glow-stick exit" but instead Marc stepped up to the plate, directed guests, and communicated with our photographers to allow us to enjoy the moment. Marc truly goes above and beyond. Marc is incredibly inexpensive as well considering he covered the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. And he brings his own equipment getting there in amble time to set up and break down. It's very obvious that Marc is dedicated to making those he is working with thrive - he was one of the first vendors to show up and the last to leave. We genuinely couldn't recommend DJ Marc more; he is incredibly talented and we are so grateful to have had his support and encouragement throughout the entire wedding planning process!

I've never heard Misery Business, Shake it Off, Mr. Brightside, and so many other non-piano songs in this format. And what's more, you wouldn't even really know unless you knew it was pianos because it sounded so good! Dance floor was hopping all night and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend for weddings, but I'm sure they'd be great supporting any kind of event!
