We had an excellent experience with Sean at CSE. From the first moment I reached out to him, I knew this was the right fit! Planning a wedding from Texas in NJ is not easy, but he was very responsive to every email and the few phone conversations we had. Since we had a Friday morning brunch wedding, he was also able to work with our budget and really make it happen for us. Once we booked with CSE Sean also sent us a username and password to our personalized online music planner. It was nice being able to put all the details of who was who, and pick what songs we wanted to be played. Also, the week of the wedding, Sean touched based, went over everything with us too which was much appreciated! Since we had a small wedding, I know it was difficult to get the party pumped up ( a Friday brunch wedding is also a little difficult). But, he played many of the songs we requested and others that were really perfectly along the lines of our wedding day feel- think Michael Buble. It was really nice because it didn't feel like just another wedding with a cheesy DJ. Sean also worked with my sister to orchestrate "the shoe game" I had wanted in the middle of our reception which was a lot of fun! Lots of laughs! Perfect touch. We had Sean McCaffery as our DJ at our wedding April 20, 2013 and he was sensational. He did everything the way we asked from the ceremony music to the entrances to the cake cutting song to the final song. He really helped things flow smoothly, keeping me and my husband on track as to what was happening when. He had all the names of everyone down and we had some odd ones. He kept everything fun and played great music on top of all that. We wanted to do a little dedication and he helped us set that up. The company does everything online. You put in your requests and what you want for the specific events - ceremony, entrances, cake cutting, bouquet throw, 1st dance, parent dances and anything else you can think of. It's all so easy. Center Stage Entertainment was a package deal with our caterer for our wedding on July 9th, 2016, Catering by Vitarelli's. We were a little worried that we wouldn't get the quality that we were hoping for, but we were pleased to find out that we were wrong! The first thing we really liked was that we could send our requests and names of our wedding party/families via an online form. We were assured that, even though some of the songs weren't in the "library" online, our DJ would play them for us. Bryan Basara was assigned as our DJ, and he was fabulous! Much of our family and friends are Spanish, and many of our requests were in Spanish. Bryan did a fantastic job integrating the Spanish music with the other requests that we had and some crowd pleasers that weren't on our original list. He was very responsive via email, and provided a microphone for the ceremony, as well as music for the recessional. Bryan introduced himself right after the ceremony and made sure to check with everyone so that he pronounced all of the names correctly. He handled requests from guests well, and kept the night moving with an upbeat, positive attitude. We truly appreciated how well he handled everything and that he kept guests on the dance floor right until the last dance! We will definitely be recommending Center Stage Entertainment and Bryan Basara to all of our friends and family! read more

I don't think there are words to express how AMAZING of a job Sean did at our wedding...he wasn't just the DJ...our guests were walking around calling him the "wedding master." Haha. Three things in particular I think are worth noting for anyone trying to select a DJ for your wedding: (1) As far as music goes, we had a WIDE variety of musical tastes at our wedding, and Sean did an excellent job incorporating a little bit of something for everyone! Our guests were coming up to me all night telling me how great the music was. Also, I was worried when my then fiance sent Sean a list of like 30 (and I'm not exaggerating) songs to play haha, but Sean wasn't phased at all and actually incorporated a LOT of them! (2) Our venue was a little challenging, as it was pretty much entirely DIY and all outdoors (a wildflower preserve). Once again, no sweat for Sean. He came prepared. (3) Lastly, Sean really focused on just making sure that everything ran smoothly FOR us. He did not want us to be worrying about anything. At times, when he saw we were worried or not happy with something, he stepped in and got it taken care of it immediately without question even when it wasn't necessarily his responsibility. When choosing a DJ, my husband and I were nervous because music and dancing one of the most critical elements to a fun wedding. A friend with similar tastes recommended Sam and we could not have been happier. Using the online DJ planner, we were able to create a must play and do not play list as well as if possible to play songs. Center Stage Entertainment was a great choice for our wedding. Sam was very communicative and available for questions in the lead up to our big day. Our DJ Jared was so helpful! We had a few conversations before our wedding, he picked up quickly from our song requests what kind of music we were looking for and stuck to our tastes. He also was able to pull more obscure songs that were special to us to use in the day as planned. Sam was AMAZING this weekend! He did such an amazing job with our wedding. We got non stop compliments on how great he was. The photo booth they provided was a big hit. We used Center Stage as our DJ/MC for our wedding reception in Stone Harbor, NJ in June 2019 and they were great. Nate was a fantastic MC. We made some changes that evening based around timing and he was so flexible and really helpful. Getting people to know when food is open, or when the first dance is starting, or to help gather large groups of family for group photos on the dance floor was so so helpful. I didn't know how much we would need his services until that evening and I can't imagine the wedding without his help. The DJ played exactly the kind of songs we hoped for and our must-play list. The anniversary dance song was especially sweet. They are the perfect way to organize a wedding and get the crowd to enjoy the party. read more

We used Centerstage's services ( both photobooth and DJ ) for our wedding in April and I was really disappointed. They had done such an excellent job with my friends wedding in December and it was not the same for ours. The DJ we had was excellent, however DO NOT waste your money on the photobooth. When they first arrived they were having problems with the photobooth, so the owner was there working to fix the issue. Once the reception started the photobooth did get up and running, but it continually malfunctioned through out the night. It was disappointing as I did not get to take a lot of pictures with our guests, and once most of the guests realized the photobooth was there it completely broke. Centerstage did try to make the situation right by refunding $300 of the rental for the photobooth. The only problem is we still have not received our Flash Drive of the pictures from the photobooth that night. I have emailed and spoke with the owner about this and was told it would be sent to us, but we are now a month and a week after the wedding and this still has not been done. It would not be that big of a deal, but a lot of our guests were not able to place their pictures in our memory book because they were only given two copies of the photo's. If you want to rent a photobooth, do not use this company. Look for a photobooth company that will have a back up plan, and web hosting for your pictures in case something goes wrong. Lesson learned here, I would hate to see anyone else experience the problems we have had. read more
