I see the one bad review and sad to see she doesn't have hundreds of excellent review. I've had…read morebilateral cochlear implants by Dr Tirino and highly recommend her. Her beside manner was amazing. Told me what to expect all the way through. I'm very happy with my experience and have to believe if the person with the bad review went back to her she could've resolved the issue.

Dr. Tirino performed cochlear implant surgery on left ear Feb. 16, 2023 At Wellstar North Fulton…read more She did not use smart nav that Cochlear has for surgeons to insure the electrode goes in correctly. The X-ray taken after surgical placement was inconclusive in confirming placement but Dr. Tirino closed the surgery up. Six months later when hearing did not improve or progress she ordered a CT scan which showed a tip fold over. My Hearing would never improve unless I had a second surgery. I chose to go to Dr.Robert Labadie to do Revision surgery in Jan. 2024, at Medical University of S. Carolina in Charleston. The expense and emotional challenges have been life altering in a very negative way! Hearing in left ear will never be correct because of tip fold over. Also, once you have tip fold over it prevents electrode from going in optimal placement in cochlear. All of this hard ache, emotional upheaval, stress in life, missed opportunities to hear family and others could have been prevented if Dr. Tirino had done necessary steps to insure placement before closing the surgery. I applied for a position with this organization's surgical center (Northeast Atlanta ENT and…read moreAllergy) and initially had a positive impression of the opportunity. During the process, I was reached out by a lady with the name of Lynda Rexroat and I was given detailed information about the role, was interviewed and was told to follow up by her once I was ready to move forward with touring the center to see if I liked the workflows before moving on to the next stage of the hiring process, this created the expectation that I was still being considered. After trying to follow up with Lynda Rexroat multiple times and waiting over a month, I received no response and was ultimately left without any communication regarding the status of my application. What disturbed me the most was Ms. Lynda Rexroat's inability/refusal to follow through what she had said. While I understand that not every applicant will be selected, GHOSTING candidates after setting EXPECTATIONS for next steps is disappointing, disrespectful and EXTREMELY unprofessional. I was saddened to experience these negative qualities from Lynda Rexroat and to see her LACK of knowing how to treat a human being with BASIC respect. A simple update or message from Lynda Rexroat or anyone else from the company would have made a significant difference, especially after reaching out MULTIPLE times for over the course of a month. I hope the organization improves its hiring communication process so future applicants are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve. Ghosting, is a really bad look. And if you are an applicant reading this, please take what I have written into GREAT consideration!
