She seemed nice and organized enough when we met. My fiancé and I liked her style, and she promised full service wedding planning, decoration, and $500 worth of florals. The price was a bit high, but felt worth it for all the services being offered. The first sign something was wrong was at our second meeting. She had lost all of the notes from our first meeting and we had to go back over everything. Now I know she's only human, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and kept working with her. During that meeting, I let her know my venue would be having an open house within the following weeks, she said we could go together for a walkthrough. A week before the open house, she let me know she couldn't come after all as she had double booked herself. After this, I asked her through messages for help with some wedding planning items (the rehearsal dinner that my father was wanting book). She told me it could wait until closer to the date. This is also not the only time she said this. She responded with this most times I asked for specific plans for anything. I told her I was not comfortable with that and would like to plan things early so that we had time to plan everything properly. She said we have plenty of time. A couple weeks later, I asked her to do just decor, because we did not feel that she was a competent planner. She agreed, so we let some time pass before contacting again to go over details of decoration. Not only was it difficult to plan a meeting time because she is busy or out of town often, but when we finally landed on an agreeable time and date, I let her know I would want to go over specifics and she said she doesn't do any sort of design plans or mock-ups whatsoever! She said we would just have to trust her! She expects us to be okay with going into the wedding day with no plan? No confirmation of where things will go, what items will be used, nothing. Of course I was not comfortable with that so I told her we would look for services elsewhere. I asked for a refund, and she was only willing to give us back half of what we had paid her ($1000 so far.) Now I find myself 3 months before wedding date with no decorations, missed all the good deals, and am going to have to take her to court to get a full refund. Like I needed that extra stress. Don't hire her if you want any kind of organization or a plan.

At that time I explained that my fathers funds were frozen and I was waiting on some papers to release the funds. I gave them the information to contact the manager at Hapo Credit Union to confirm this information. Obviously if I was avoiding payment I wouldn't have even bothered trying to explain things!! Even after speaking with the Hapo manager, Einan's sent me to collections. Of course I'm irate as it's barely been 3 months!! I call to speak with someone in AR, which happened to be the same woman I'd spoke with in September. She very rudely told me she had no choice but to send me to collection. I too work in AR and know this is not true! She proceeded to tell me it's been over 6 months delinquent. I countered with the date he passed...again, barely 3 months! When I asked to speak to her superior, she told me she Holly would be in the following day in the morning. I called the following day (a Friday) and was told she was out. I left her a voicemail asking for a return call. Today, Monday, I have yet to hear back! The worst part...the balance owing is a little over $1800. It isn't even for the full amount of services. (My father had most of it prepaid) I've never encountered such a greedy, impatient, rude and down right cold business in my life!! I understand completely the need to collect payments in a timely manner, but in some cases there is a need for a bit more time. If I hadn't communicated with them about what was going on, I'd also understand, but the ONE time I was called, I immediately responded with all the information explaining the situation.
