Meh, this is an average looking lounge. Definitely not as nice as other lounges that I've been to…read morewith the priority pass. Sofas are pretty dirty. There's not a lot of food here. Mostly little snacks like pretzel, biscuit, cupcake, olives, tomatoes, yogurt, potato chips, chocolate. There's a coffee machine that can also make lattes/macchiatos/espresso etc. Soda and water. There isn't any food that you can make a meal out of. I don't really recommend going out of your way to come to this lounge unless you have alot of time to waste or really wanna get away from the regular people. TIP: This lounge is located in terminal 1. If your flight is at terminal 2, there's a bus that connects you between the terminals. Bus comes every 15 minutes. If your flight is at terminal 2, You can access the Atlantic Lounge by going through the terminal 1, gate C (business/priority security line (not the regular line)). You have to tell the security guy you want to go to Atlantic lounge because the computers will reject your boarding pass. Once you go through security check and immigration, and find the lounge, the bus that transports you back to terminal 2 is only about a 5 minute walk away from the lounge. On the bus, it's like another 5 minute ride to the terminal 2. Give yourself extra time to travel to your gate! My flight was at terminal 2 gate L25. Even after I got off the bus, I had to take another shuttle to my gate.

This lounge isn't in the same universe as a five star lounge, but I thought that it was an…read moreexcellent escape from the chaos of the Munich airport. The elevator for it is somewhat hidden. It's behind a cage built by Camel cigarettes to capture smokers. Or else it's just an enclosed room for people to smoke in. Either way look for the giant camel statue. The lounge itself is just a single room with some sofas and chairs. The food at hand was snacks such as muffins, pretzels, and fruit. There was alcohol and soda available also. They also have an automated machine for coffee or hot chocolate. You're not going to get a full meal here but I was happy to get some fruit and water without having to pay for it in a gift store. We were able to relax here for an hour before heading back to the states. It made a long day of travel more bearable.

In one instance, I was able to grab a late lunch in the lounge. On my second visit, I was able to get breakfast. Both were pretty good for lounge food. From a service perspective, staff were walking around and quickly picked up plates and cups. All in all, it was a pretty good lounge experience for busy days of travel.

This lounge isn't terrible, but it's not particularly memorable either. The biggest positives are…read morethat it's pretty clean, spacious, and comfortable enough to get some work done or relax while waiting for a flight. After spending a week in Germany, I was desperately craving something lighter and healthier rather than more bread and heavy food. The vegetable soup, salad, and yogurt were exactly what I needed and definitely hit the spot. If you're looking for healthier options, there are enough basics to put together a decent meal. For bread lovers, there's no need to worry. The lounge offers pretzels along with a selection of breads and pastries. There are also espresso drinks and alcoholic beverages available. It appeared that shower facilities were available as well, although I didn't use them. Overall, it's a perfectly functional lounge that provides a somewhat clean and comfortable place to spend a few hours before a flight. Just don't expect a particularly exciting food selection or a premium luxury experience.
