We also experienced the baseball diamond due to a 6 yr old t-ball game. Lovely field - just remember to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on while your kiddo plays. They also have a volleyball sand court and basketball court. They have a handful of picnic benches for a lovely afternoon outing. Plenty of parking on the street or on their parking lot.

I wish they had a safer and better way for folks to get Ubers - it's frustrating that the few times we've called rideshare after a game that the drivers don't know where to pick up, and it says to pick up further from the venue. They really need a row where it is only rideshare pickup. Target Field is a great spot overall - super fun to see the other areas during Food & Wine Experience this winter too!

There are quite a few baseball fields for the baseball players to choose from. The playground is a little worn, but serves its purpose. A smaller area for the smaller kids and the one for the bigger kids with bigger slides and geared more for the older kids. There is a tire swing, and some cute little spring toys kids can rock back and forth on. There are restrooms available. Picnic tables Places to sit. There is a plaque explaining how the fields were named which was an interesting read. I never knew, but pretty cool.

I loved that the team stands by the exit area for signatures. Slider does exactly what a good mascot does and keeps the fans engaged. I appreciated that it wasn't overly buggy which was nice. Overall it was a fun night. I will return!

I'm not a zookeeper by any means, but considering the heat and kids screaming, maybe stress and hot! The same was for the mountain lion. He actually was pawing at his enclosure door to get out of the sun, but seemed unable to do so. Other animals were even seen pawing at empty bowls, which again, assuming this to be for water. I grew up on a farm, not a zookeeper, but the animals looked very uncomfortable.

This is a legit nature center, quality playground, and perfectly nice little zoo. I don't know what it's like to live down here, but apparently the locals love this place. That said, it wasn't too crowded at all, and the bathrooms were clean. Parking was easy. We stayed for about an hour, but plenty of people looked like they had packed lunches and intended to stay all day.
