He has helped tremendously with that and getting me to make better contact with my irons. What is great about Stan, he is a no bs type of coach. I don't mean a jerk either. He just does exactly what you pay him for. Cuts out the bs and goes straight to your faults and corrects them. He focuses and teaches permanent fixes. You also get to hit outside and see the ball flight just as you would on a golf course. Stan is also well respected as a fitter for clubs too. I respect the fact that i was all in for dropping $$$ to get fitter for custom clubs. He could've easily took my money, but he said "let's get you swinging better first, you may end up liking your clubs better". Gotta respect that. You can tell he really loves the sport and will invest hhis time and knowledge to help someone that has the willingness to learn. Do yourself a favor and take a lesson and see for yourself.

We were welcomed by the one of the owners who got us into our bay and setup to play a round of golf. The Trackman devices they have in each bay helps serious golfers track things like spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, etc. These numbers will help you develop your game and make the right club choice once out on the course. Grant's approach is personable, well communicated, and effective. He is not just a teaching pro, but a touring pro. He lives the game. He has the unique opportunity to teach on the course one on one rather than just at a range surrounded by eavesdropping duffers, looking for free tips and making the student feel self- conscious. He was able to quickly evaluate my abilities and accurately analyze and instruct me on which adjustments to begin working on, all the while backing it up with the fundamentals that are essential in playing better golf without overwhelming me with everything at once. I have never hit better more consistent wedge shots than the many I hit today while working with him. I will be taking more lessons with him, as I am confident that I will FINALLY be able to improve under his instruction. Worth every penny. We were not greeted upon arrival, nor did anyone on staff talk to us or ask us anything. They were all busy with other patrons, I guess. There are large sections of the store where you can try out the equipment, one being a type of driving range and the other being online simulations. They also have a sort of putting green, which is where we spent most of our visit. Husband just wanted to get a feel for what putter to order, as he didn't like their high prices. We looked around the used section and it wasn't much. It seemed rather bland for a Golf Galaxy, as Husband had experienced much better and grander Golf Galaxys. The store was clean and the clothes for sale looked pressed and professional. Every patron dressed like they were just about to golf or like they just came from golfing, which I found funny. I do believe that if you were willing to pay it, you could get everything you needed to start golfing.

They use to have carts but haven't seen them in use lately. There are 3 par 4's and the rest are par 3's. There are water hazards, sand traps and elevation changes just as you would see in the larger courses. The prices are reasonable and it plays pretty fast if you are not chasing your balls everywhere like me. Great place for kids to learn or anyone for that matter. It's hidden back in a neighborhood so be careful driving in and out. Could get on the course today as it was just too wet.
