Explained to them, we saw a video of 8 guys doing a scramble at the course, and would like to book accordingly to be able to have this happen. The gentleman asked me to book 9 players (3 tee times), and that they would love to have us. On hole one, after paying nearly $80 a player 30 minutes prior to tee time, we were told we would have to split up into groups of 4. Though it was not what was communicated we followed instruction to play in groups of 4. Sending one guy who we paid for home for the day on hole one. ($80 wasted) We informed the marshals on what was going on, came to an agreement, and also informed them that any party having difficulties playing at the pace they would like that we would happily allow them to play through. After 16 holes finished the marshals asked us to leave the course due to pace of play not allowing us to finish the course. (Tee times 8:30-8:50) kick off time (12:50). This experience was by far the worst I have ever had by any golf course. If you are not from Edmond, OK then do not think you are apart of the club!

This country club is by far the worst one I've been to. Ever. We had a large event here (about 200…read morepeople), and we ran into so many different issues! We usually host our event at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club but we decided to give this place shot. Really regretting that foolish decision. The staff was very rude and seemed like they all hated their job. The manager who was helping us was even ruder, believe it or not. The AC stopped working, basically the entire time we were there. The food was supposed to be served at 7:15 and it was served at 7:45. Ladies from their country club (wearing jeans at our black tie event) kept coming into our event and drinking on our tab. The event manager and employees were so unprofessional. I am not sure how they let that happen. The staff started picking up our items at 11:30pm even though our event was supposed to end at midnight. They took our drinks (including water), whether we were done or not. I am so disappointed! For such an expensive venue, I expected at least decent service. I would like to reiterate how rude the event manager was that "helping" us. I will make sure to get her name and add it to this post. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HOSTING ANY EVENT HERE. Unless you want a terrible experience that's not worth the cost.

Paid a premium because it was a holiday, yet the club was operated by minimal staff, which led to…read moresome real issues. First, if you're going to have over half of the holes be "cart path only" then you need to tell folks at check-in. Instead, on many of them, you didn't know until your cart stalled in the fairway and you had to back out. Second, there seemed to be no reason for the "cart path only" because it was dry. Perhaps, it was just lack of updating from Friday night's rains. Third, we were a foursome. Most courses foursomes have priority. In fact, many won't even let you make a tee time unless you have at least three. That's especially the case on weekends and holidays when tee sheets are full. Yet, our foursome was followed by 3 twosomes and a single!! Difficult to stay ahead of that, especially with all of the "cart path only" holes! So, we spent time waving folks through left and right when the clubhouse (no starter present on a high-density holiday for golf) should have paired up some of those twosomes and the single to keep pace of play more constant. Instead, we couldn't get into a rhythm until we finally had the last of them play through on the back 9! All-in-all, a pretty pathetic operation today. The course was in typical Winter conditions except range balls were like rocks!!

The food is consistently delicious, even with the seasonal changes. The dishes are typically fairly traditional with a modern flair. Sometimes it will include an unexpected sauce or ingredient. My husband has been very pleased with the golf course. He said it is very well-kept and everyone has been courteous. We have played pickle ball a couple of times and I have attended the padel clinic. The courts are also very nice and well-maintained. If you are looking for a place to join a social club, this would also be an excellent choice. Their calendar is somewhat overwhelming each month. There is something to do pretty much every single day of the week. I have met someone who is now one of my best friends from being social at the club.
