This cozy theater is today and he has been reinforcing since my divorce to 'be good to yourself'. I…read moredid just that this weekend, first attending the opera #Carmen on Friday night, then attended this play last night. I was intrigued by the synopsis because it mentioned taking place on 9/11, but the storyline goes well beyond that fateful day. The Mercy Seat. First, the theater: a small, intimate area with only 3 rows of seats. I've always enjoyed smaller theaters as you get ThisClose to the actors. Next, the play itself - clearly a unique display of two actors taking us on a roller coaster of emotions through their relationship. Having recently come out of a 6-year tie myself, I was able to relate to both characters and became submerged with the plot. At the end of the show, there is a small gathering area where the actors meet and talk with audience members. I shook hands with Aleks and listened intently how he explained to a small group of women how he mentally prepared for the character of Ben - stating several times how he was an a-hole and had to continuously remind himself of that. As I listened to him, I sensed that male-bashing bias that I've come to hear all too often. It's true that the character of Ben had been in a 3-year relationship with this woman while his wife and children are home. But the woman he is having an affair with is just as guilty. She made the conscientious decision to get involved with a married man who has children. She may be coming to the realization that she wants more, but Ben is not at fault for this. Furthermore, we hear Ben talk about his kids at several points throughout the storyline. So while his mistress (and boss) apparently fulfills certain destinations for Ben within the bedroom, he still loves his kids. I can relate to Ben. I was in a miserable marriage for years but didn't have the spine to leave them because I love my two boys. So from my perspective, Aleks doesn't give Ben enough credit. It takes two to tango, and Ben clearly has more to lose than his mistress. With that said, I would like to congratulate both Aleks and Ray-Anna Ranae on an absolutely brilliant performance. I didn't know this playhouse existed until yesterday but would

They are wonderful and thought provoking. Exceptional acting and directing. It's an up close and personal experience every time. I love the sets! We also love having several restaurants within walking distance where we can have dinner before the show. It makes for the perfect date night or night out with friends.

I sent my daughter here for about 3 months (2025). The instructors were nice and the choreography…read morewas fun; occasional videos were shared w the parents in the class group chat. BUT, we decided to leave the studio and went back to our old dance studio because of the following 2 reasons: 1. My daughter came out of many classes looking bummed out, which is rare; she's usually upbeat w shiny eyes after her rec classes. When I asked why she was upset, she said "I can't understand them half the time". She said they speak Spanish more than half the time, and the majority of the students are Spanish-speaking and they mostly speak Spanish to each other also. Believe me, one of my best friends is Mexican and I have no problem with this heritage. We love diversity!! But, my daughter is English-speaking only so she felt left out and was unable to make new friends well because of this. When I brought this up to the owner, she seemed to make excuses and did not say that possibly this is something they should work on. I was disappointed because on their website, during the tour and in class descriptions, I heard nothing of their classes being taught in 2 languages. That's a big thing to know before committing! 2. There is 1 verrry small waiting area. There is no area for families to observe their kiddos through windows. Instead, there are two highly-placed monitors where the kids are able to be viewed live. HOWEVER, they don't want families waiting in that room while your child is in class; they ask that we allow ONLY the students to take a break and eat there. So where does that leave the families? You're stuck waiting in the car, unable to watch your kid or running errands during your kids' class time. Hope this helps anyone that is curious about this studio!

Even though it was not bought from them the lady was very helpful and offered to fine tune my lamp calibration. I told her I'd buy whatever it took to fix my flaring issue too. Later that day I showed up at their storefront. The lady I talked to wasn't available, and the one in charge showed nothing but contempt for my fixture. Every sentence out of her mouth was about me not buying it from them, how she hates them and they are inferior products, u should have got a better one, etc. When one of the employees mentions adjusting the lens she points out that I have never spent anything with them. I state that this is not true, and she has me tell her my company name and proceeds to run me through the system to determine if I'm lying and how much I've spent. Turns out that I'm not lying, but I've only bought approx $30 dollars of stuff so I'm not good enough to assist I guess. Her daughter offers to adjust my lamp but her mom wouldn't allow it. Instead she prints Instructions on how to adjust it which I already have since they come with the unit. She claims she won't touch it because she could break it, but everyone there knew that was just an excuse. Her daughter was even giving her the look like "why are you being like this?" I had a $200 pending quote form from them. I told the mom to cancel the quote as I will never use this company again and advise my associates to do the same. One star because that's the lowest I can give. I seriously can't believe some people just don't like to help others. In my industry I give selflessly to charity on a constant basis, so the culture-shock/mind-set took me completely by surprise!

She was having fun learning new things since it was her first time dancing again in a while. Then after a while she started to complain that she already knew these techniques and that they never learned anything new. This studio has horrible teaching, they keep reteaching the same technique from the RAD exam sheets and don't even try to learn anything new which doesn't give children room to reach their full potential. Also, students who have parents that work or / volunteer often give students with low experience hard and good roles to bad students and give good high experience students very low expectation roles. It's very disappointing how high my hopes were for this studio to only see how cheap and disgusting it really is. Also, I have heard this from other moms at the studio but staff from the studio have made children uncomfortable by saying things about how they look. Just absolutely sad and depressing a child has to think how they look because of these ignorant selfish people. Not even kidding, they are always having sewer problems, they always have to cut up the roof during class and water is dripping from the sealing, and to mention they always have construction going on and they just can't do it on a day not during class. Prices are way too high for low venue cheap places just to go see our kids dance. This studio also only focuses on one student who has been there for 15 years and all the photos on the photo review section is all about her and they maybe have a few other students but other than that she is the star of the show practically. I swear there is other and way better places to put our beloved children in other than this dump. Do Better.
