I dropped off a pair of khaki pants to have dry cleaned and also to see if they could remove a food stain from the front of the pants. The owner, a older Asian female, looked over the pants with me and marked the stains. When I picked up the dry cleaning it was wrapped as usual with the other items I dropped off. There was a card attached to it stating they could not remove the food stain; I was okay with that. The issue is when I went to wear the pants I noticed a large bleach type stain that wasn't there before. I called the dry cleaners immediately and described the issue over the phone and I was told there was nothing they could do as they don't make mistakes; non-the-less I asked if I could bring them in for a look and she said ok. When I brought the khakis in I was met by an older Asian gentleman who immediately became defensive before listening to what I had to say. They had obviously spoke about me prior to this. He starting telling me that it was not possible for this to happen because they do not make mistakes. I never asked for a refund but he kept telling me they cannot prove they are at fault so they won't give a refund to pay for the pants; I WASN'T ASKING FOR A REFUND! I told them this 7 times after each time they said they could not give a refund. I just wanted to know how it happened and if they could fix it. To make things even worse they began parading employees in front of me in an attempt to say that I made the stain. Each employee was obviously unaware and just gave answers they thought the owners wanted to hear. None of the answers even matched what the owners said; I was berated by the owners when I brought that fact up. I left having been told that they do not use chemicals that could stain pants, they do not make these kinds of mistakes, and they only call customers when they see new small stains not big stains on garments brought in. I've never been so mistreated nor had my integrity challenged more in my life then on this day. I spoke to a customer on the way out and he said there's a reason why they are the lowest price in town. I could go on but you get the point. NOT SATISFIED. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Went here for a Livingsocial deal I got. The lady was very friendly. I went in to get my work clothes dry cleaned as well as get a dress altered for a wedding. The lady was very helpful, and honest by telling me to just pin the dress and hide it with the ribbon on the dress, instead of altering it. My clothes were returned very quickly for the amount I had (almost 20 items). One of the dresses I had dry cleaned had some stitching messed up from another place I got dry cleaned, and the lady here fixed it right up. She was very modest, in that she didn't even let me know, she just did it out of kindness. Also, the place is eco-friendly, which is a huge plus considering how bad dry cleaning is for the environment. Another bonus is that the hangers they give back to you, for skirts, aren't those cheap hangers with safety pins. They actually have clips, so I plan to keep using them. I've been hunting for places, and come across 2.50 cleaners all around, but this place has better quality, service and they're environmentally friendly. read more

Horrible Experience! Tinsley Dry Cleaners damaged a very nice blouse I took there to have cleaned for my fiance. The blouse had a small tomato stain on the front of it which I showed the lady when I took it in and she said they could clean it. When I picked up the blouse the material by the stain was damaged and a different stain was there. I showed the lady and she said she would have the manager call me. After a week and no call I went back in. I told the lady who I was and asked about the top. She called the manager and said he wanted to speak with me. We spoke and to make a long story short he said that they did not cause the damage and that he was not going to pay for the top. He didn't even offer to not charge me for the cleaning. I had already paid for cleaning the blouse when I picked up my other items and I noticed the damage the week prior. My fiance and I are new to the area and found Tinsley to be a convenient location and chose to overlooked the 1 negative review on Yelp. I sure wish I would have taken that negative review a little more seriously. Now my fiance is out one of her favorite blouses and we will be looking for a new dry cleaner. As the previous reviewer stated, I also didn't receive an apology but instead was blamed for the damage that was not there when I dropped the blouse off. So I would also say to anyone considering using Tinsley Dry Cleaners to STAY AWAY!!! read more
