Not sure of how dark I wanted the tint to be I discussed with Paul (the owner) my options. We talked about the legal limit as well as the general look I would want with my car. During our talk I mentioned the factory tint on my rear windows and questioned how tinting over that might effect the look and legal limit (based on the % I wanted). Paul assured me it wouldn't make much of a difference. So I pulled the trigger and had paul and his team tint my windows. Tinting was done in about 2-3 hrs which was as promised. However when I got my car The rear tint seemed extremely dark. It was the middle of the day and with my hands cupped and pressed against the window I could not see into the back of my car. I will mention that the front two windows were the expected darkness. I took my car home and throughout the day kept looking at the car debating if I was making a big deal over nothing so I drove several times in the day and found the dark tint in the rear windows reduced visibility a significant amount. I decided to drive that night to see what difference the tint would make. Visibility was so bad I could barely see out my rear windows and needed to roll down my driver window to see, at this point I was sure the tint was way to dark. The next day I call Tint Technologies and describe my experience and express my safety concerns to them. They tell me thats fine bring the car in but we have to charge you 99$ an hour to remove the tint and it could take 2-3 hrs to remove it. I questioned this asking since it was just applied if they could just peel it off easily without the charge or maybe I could just remove it myself and I was told they had to charge me and doing it myself is not a good idea. I decided to call around and Henry at SIGNATURE AUTO FILM told me because the tint was so fresh he would not charge me to remove it and that it was easy to do. I took my car to SIGNATURE AUTO FILM and Henry first took a light meter to my back windows and they were at 4%!!! (I had purchased 20%) so this explained why I couldn't see into or out of my windows well at all. Then Henry easily peeled back a corner of the tint and then pulled the tint off my windows completely. It took several minutes to remove all the tint which is crazy because tint technologies wanted to charge me 99$ an hour! Once the tint was removed Henry placed several pieces of new tint with varying percentages against my back windows and measured each with a light meter to make sure that we achieved as close to 20% as possible. Once we had figured out what the right tint was I had SIGNATURE AUTO FILM replace all my rear windows. I received an authentic warranty and a free bottle of glass cleaner at time of payment (the warranty that I received from tint technologies was simply the carbon copy of my receipt written on paper that Chinese takeout places use, unprofessional). SIGNATURE AUTO FILM was amazing, customer service was phenomenal, the time Henry took to make sure I was a satisfied customer was beyond anything I've experienced in a long time, I've already recommended several friends to him. FYI if i had gone with SIGNATURE AUTO FILM in the first place the same tint that I purchased at tint technologies would have cost 20$ less. The staff was super professional and most importantly friendly. I have vitiligo and my spots get very red with the heat and sun so called to have ALL my truck's "glass" done. I was provided with a rundown of all the types of tints and which would be best to protect myself against the sun. Anyone else would have just taken my money and be done with it, not this place. I previously had my tints done at another location and TT were quick to point out the imperfections that are not obvious to the untrained eye, should have just came to TT first and had it done right. I am 100% satisfied with the product installation and service that I received from the Spoiler Dude. He performed a perfect install of 3M's most advanced clear bra on my brand new VW GTI. Before performing the work he explained the product's benefits to me and walked me through his recommended placement for my car. Unless you're looking to get your tint redone numerous times, STAY AWAY! First time I got my tint done, on the front windows only, there were a ton of bubbles even after a couple weeks. Paul said he would redo the tint and I then decided I wanted to do the back windows too so I scheduled an appt for 27th at 8am. He told me it would take about 4 hours because he had to remove the front window tint and then do all the windows. When I dropped it off, I asked his wife if it would still be done in 4 hours. She told me give or take so probably 4-6 hours! So 4 hours later my husband called to ask what the progress was and Paul said that his wife told me it would be done at he end if the business day!!! First off, no she did not and secondly- WHY would it take you 10 hours to do tint on my car, if I made an 8 am appt to have you fix your crappy job?! So me and my husband pick up my car at 5:30pm and the next day we're inspecting in since it's easier to see in daylight if there are mistakes. Well to put it nicely, it looked like my 3 year old did the tint job. The film was cut crookedly in some spots, the back window film wasn't even sticking to the window in some spots AND he cut some of the rubber seal on the back passenger window with his razor. The job was CLEARLY rushed and he has no idea how to properly tint. We went the following Tuesday when he opened to show him the horrible job he did and he offered a refund right away but only partial. I told him I wanted a full refund because this work was not good at all. He then said that I had to wait til the payment I had made, cleared before he gave me a refund. Well it had cleared cuz it showed up on my bank statement so I told him I needed a refund right now and I wasn't coming back because I'd been there too many times already. We've spoken to people who have told us that he writes his own reviews and also PAYS people to write reviews as well to make his "business" look amazing but it's anything but that. I normally don't write reviews but would hate to see others waste their hard earned money and their time on this place. Paul is a nice guy, but definitely a sweet talker! Phenomenal, professional, respectful, and down right awesome business. You know it's a good business when they know what they can and cannot do. He refused to tint my tail lights as they tried for a long time while tinting the rest of my truck. Paul knew it would be a shit job on the lights as there was no way to complete them due to the many curvatures and indents. Most places would take your money and give you bad service in a case like that... not here. Bottom line is that you can respect a business that stands behind their work and won't do work that they cannot stand behind. Overall the tint was awesome for a great price especially with a lifetime warranty (and it was a unique one time case with my lights so take yours here if you need that done). read more

****NOT RECOMMENDED**** A couple of weeks ago, I had tint installed on my 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 by the Spoiler Dude. I have had a number of cars tinted before. I decided to give the Spoiler Dude a try. The tint job did not come out professional looking one bit. The tint was cut short at the edges of the rear side windows. The rear window had many imperfections. The tint did not go all the way up the back window. The tint line at the top was extremely crooked. My temp tag was placed back on the rear window with two pieces of tape. I showed Paul Hasty the mistakes that his tint installer had done. He advised me that it didn't look right. He called the installer back. The tint installer said that it looked perfect and that there was nothing wrong with the windows. He was extremely rude to my wife and me. Paul was polite. Paul charged me for four windows. Paul asked me if his installer could take the tint off the rear window because it did not look professional. I told Paul that I did not want his installer to touch my car any more. Today, I removed the temp tag off the rear window. The top piece of tape came off with the tint. Overall, I it was a horrible experience. I would NOT RECOMMEND! On 10/14/13, Paul emailed me and asked if I would give him a call. I gave him a call. He advised that I needed to give him a 5 star rating before he would refund my money. I advised him that I would do no such thing. Again, I DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more
