RANDY took my call and literally told me since I only had one window I would have to take a 5:30 - 6 AM time slot - PRE-PAY ONLY. I do NOT care about the cost or the time. Good tint services. Randy is the owner and makes all of the appointments. Detailed explanations of pricing and options over the phone. I got the 4 front windows tinted to the legal limit, and it was done in 30 minutes, not even! They were super fast, and the tint looks great after drying. Only complaint is that when I called to reschedule my appointment to an earlier date, and he stated that I didn't have any appointment scheduled whatsoever. Even paying the $200+ deposit already, he claimed I couldn't even get an appointment with him because he was so busy. He came off as very cocky and blunt, but whatever. Okay. Overpriced for overall quality of service.. 1. Bubbles on tint after service. Wish I was told, before leaving, that the bubbles would vanish after set amount of cured time. (I hadn't experienced this at my first tint service elsewhere for a different vehicle, so I had no idea this was considered "normal") 2. Marks left on inner dash trim. Apparently, they didn't cause them and they were present prior to their service.. I didn't take any before/after videos to prove otherwise but okay. 3. MESSY. Glue residue left all over the dash. Soapy water streaks left on interior trim.. (Not like that previously, car was bought a few days prior and was detailed) a simple wipe down was all that was needed. The owner coerced my under age son into a deal to tint his car under the NC State legal limit (20%) and charged us $330. Then when we asked why you dealt a tanager when adults are involved in he said, we will do whatever customer asks us to do (the under age), while I clearly told him noting illegal can be done on that car. He told me what the fee was for and why it was done this way, So many people make appointments and dont keep them or even call to let them be aware there late or to cancel , and this causes problems in scheduling... "which as a business owner i understood and was happy to pay" So I drop my car the day before, next day at lunch he called me and said it was done!!!! they found a bad RCA, loose ground and questionable wiring. I have had many vehicles with custom work done on them. There was only one other time I was ever asked to pay upfront and it was a disaster. Do NOT go here!! 1. They make you pay up front for a service under the guise that this is to hold the appointment. When things go wrong you will have no course of action. 2. The will try and upsell you. Not unexpected! However when you do not "buy in" they find other "fees" to make it worth their time. 3. They do not carry 3M tint. Check out other reviews but this is rated as one of the better car tint manufacturers with a strong warranty. Lastly- I prefer to take my business and spend my money where people are kind to others. This is the fourth car we have taken to Randy and his excellent team at Tint World. We have had them apply everything from tint only to PPF and ceramic coatings. Each time we have recieved excellent service and results at a very reasonable price. Our last two cars have virtually been driven straight from the dealer's lot to Randy's shop to insure we didn't get any scratches before we could add the protective coatings. I was never someone who added tint or PPF to cars but after seeing the results from Tint World, I am convinced. The installers at Tint World are all top notch and they have worked with some very impressive cars. Search Tint World on Youtube and you will find videos of the work they do on some amazing cars. Another top notch job by Tint World. I drove my model X straight from the dealership to get tint, chrome delete, and ceramic coating. The team inspected it closely and provided detailed notes and pictures. I had asked them to do this since I literally had the car ten minutes before I had to drop it off. They found a small scratch on a back window and called me to provide the detail. They offered to proceed with the tinting, and fix it (again) free of charge after the dealership corrects it. This is just an example of how the team proactively works with customers. Amazing customer service. Prior to selecting the best package for my car, Randy helped guide me through the options, providing details and explaining the process. He sent pictures and even offered to let me come see a recently completed car as an example. Called to get a quote was transferred to a guy who sounded like a used car salesman... after his basic popular and best pitch I told him I would swing by today or tomorrow to look at the tints then he proceeded to tell me I better come in today because they are the best in town and so busy... so I told him I will just call somewhere else that's not to busy for new customers. I visited Tint World after my nightmarish experience with a chrome delete from a competing shop. While the previous shop was more affordable then Tint World, they caused permanent damage to some of the trim pieces and window molding - not something you want to see on a $75k car. Randy's crew did a stellar job in masking the damage done by the previous company and executed a perfect chrome delete.
