He invited us into the bar area to join his party, bragging that they had a "big podcaster" coming in to openly discuss "Jew Corruption." These exact words came out of manager Dustin's mouth. It's appalling how normalized and casual antisemitism has become. Red hat or blue hat, it is completely unacceptable for a manager of a business to use their position, or their place of business, to promote hate speech and subject paying customers to vile bigotry. Shame on you, Dustin. Shame on your "party", and shame on this establishment for keeping someone like this in charge. I will never support this place again, and I urge these NJ neighbors to take their business elsewhere.

But in the past couple of weeks, every time I have been in the shop I have been feeling more and more unsafe. First it was just one employee who was improperly wearing a mask over their mouth but not their nose. The next week, the same employee was no longer wearing a mask at all and was serving two mask-less customers. And the final straw was last week, when I was there, there was 3 different employees going mask-free. We really love Hanley's, but we won't be going back until we're confident that they are taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone in the community safe. We have family at home that are immune-compromised and can't put them at risk. And NJ has gone through too much with the lockdown, we don't feel right supporting businesses that endanger all our progress.
