After discussing my hankering for some sake to go with my upcoming sushi takeout with my mother in law, she highly suggested going to the Shoprite liquor store. I was like hmmm, is this attached to the actual Shoprite grocery store? Nahh... a whole store of its own. Ummm, that was an understatement. Warehouse is definitely more fitting. WOW. It's like a grocery store with the same amount of aisles with nothing by alcohol. I'm not ashamed to admit that I felt as though I'd died and gone to libation heaven. Aisles and aisles of every wine, beer, cordial, liquor, etc. that you can think of. I became so enthralled, until I remembered that I had my family in the car waiting for me.. Even though it's not in my backyard, I know where to go to increase my odds of finding some hard to get cocktail I'm making. read more

I will admit that I was a little disappointed to see that the beers only occupied about an aisle and a half of this huge store, but they still managed to pack in a huge array of beers! The rest of the store is taken up by wines and liquors, and is probably a good bet that you'll find what you're looking for here, even if it's a tough find at other liquor stores. read more

This a huge liquor store with decent prices and selection to match. It's the only place i can get my favored brand of cognac, so I go there. I don't go out of my way to fault a business for its customer service, but this place does not have any grasp of the concept. Don't expect help in findig anything. The cashiers here give unpleasant new meaning. I have never had one so much as say "thank you" (even if they didn't mean it) or heard them greet a customer in anyway. How much effort does that take to say "helllo" or "good morning"? read more

Good supply on bourbons and scotch...prices are decent and some times they have items on sale for significant savings. I'll continue to shop there before adding a star; I want to see consistency first. read more

This place is great. They expanded the store about a year ago and doubled its size. And the shelves are full. No empty displays here. A few years ago I compared liquor store prices on certain items and this place had the lowest prices. Ill have to do it again to see if they still are the best value. Their craft beer section is one full isle, both sides then one side in the next isle. The other half isle is your standard brews like Coors or Bud and they also have the fridges along the back full these beers. A smaller, double cooler stores the chilled crafts beers. Hopefully they expand the craft beer section and fridge but they still have the best selection around so I can't complain. One thing I'd like to see is more giveaways or prizes. That stuff is always fun. Last summer Mikes Hard Lemonade had a trailer out front where you could win prizes. I'd like to see more of that and less wine tasting pressure when I walk in the door. But that's just me. Other than that, the staff is always great, the selection is fantastic, and their prices are competitive. Best liquor store around. read more

Had a couple bottles of wine to buy but left without making the purchase due to bad staffing and management. I asked for a bottle of whisky that was sitting on a cabinet in the store. Refused to sell the bottle. No explanation provided. It's always a game in this store, I don't know why I bothered returning. Try Wegmans up the street or Bourbon Scotch Beer. read more

This place is amazing, imagine a small well organized Shop Rite but with just liquor. It must have 30-40 long isles, soo many wines. I went in for just a four pack of little wines n there were more choices than I was used to. I couldn't believe a sale they had on gin. I normally drink Tanqueray (a very good gin), but I noticed the sale tag on Bombay Sapphire (the best gin money can buy), for the 1.75 it was only a $2 difference, I couldn't resist. My family and I frequently buy wine from this location. When I was in yesterday, I noticed the wine I like was on sale. My family also likes this wine, so I came back again today to take advantage of the price and stock up. I waited in the long line, only to be told when I got to the front that my ID could not be accepted. No reason why, just tells me "no, sorry!" I even explained that I had bought yesterday and can show my receipt. Again, he says no. I'm trying to figure out why I was refused when Im 25 and have a valid New York license. Sad to say, but this store just lost an entire family's weekly business. read more

I swear this location was on here at one time I and reviewed it. Can never find it for check in so I added it once again. This is my go to spot for booze in the area. The expanded the store in the last year or so making it what has to be the biggest liquor store in these parts. They have pretty much everything I require for all of my drinking needs. If they don't, they will order it for you. Take a walk down the vodka aisle. You will gasp at the variety and amount of different vodkas they carry! Nice wine selection. Of course, they have a decent variety of beer. I would like to see more added, but for now it will do. Last, they sell all your mixer needs. Juices, salt, olives, lemons, limes........you get the picture. Prices are usually pretty good. It's been rare when I've found some lower at another place in this area. Fantastic selection, well organized, excellent values if you are willing to invest the time and do research, and in some cases, their specials can be 20-25% less (wines and spirits). Their beer selection is solid with tons of craft / microbrewery options available. This is one of the best, if not the best, package store in the area. read more

Any place you can grab a full size shopping cart and fill it with the alcoholic beverage of your choice (whilst not looking like a complete drunk), is the place for me!!!! Plus they seem to always have various items on sale every time I go in. They carry just about every wine ever made and yes, I love wine!! Auful. There is dust on the bottle. When we walked into the store we were discussed to see dirt on the ground. A buddy needed wine. So we got the wine. The person at the counter told us to leave and that we were illigaly there. We told him that we are 23. But he kept told us to leave and we would not ring us up. Do not go here. Selection is pretty awesome, prices are really good, and what more can you ask for? I was picking up a 24 case of Yuengling for 18-19 dollars, taking note of multiple other types of beer they have there. I saw some really highly reviewed/rated beers in there. Also, they always have all the standard stuff you come to expect. I tried a bottle of Teeling Whiskey from Dublin because it had a good review on the shelf and I thought "hell, why not?" Some fantastic whiskey for the price. I trust this place to always have a good varied selection at a fair price. What more is there? read more

Im a regular here and they've always had a great selection but it's even better since the expansion. They always have every wine and every beer in stock plus some. On a few occasions I've asked the manager Jay for advice on wine and he always took time out to help me pick up bottles to bring to dinner or buys as gifts. This store has pretty good prices and a huge selection. Sale prices even beat Sams Club sometimes. However, I was looking for a gift pack of Scotch, which included 2 little bottles of scotch with the 750 mL bottle purchase (I had purchased one there around the holidays), but I was told that they broke those down and were selling the little bottles separately. And they were selling the 750 mL bottles for more than they had been selling the gift packs, besides stealing the little bottles from those gift packs to sell them separately. Cheating, in my book. If I didn't know about this I would have rated them at least 4 stars, maybe 5, but it's hard to give a good rating to a store that cheats people. read more
