When we walked in downstairs, there was a bar on the side and tables and chairs. We got a drink and went outside for the view of the lake. It was cool to see the seaplanes taking off. The receiption took place upstairs. The bar in the middle was a good location and the line never got too long. They encouraged holding on to our wine glasses if we wanted a refill. The wedding wasn't too large so there was room for tables on both sides and a dance floor. The couple also set up a screen to project video during dancing; there was room for all of it. The food buffet was delicious and refilled generously. It was in all a great experience. Only one terrifying thing worth mentioning was at the end of the night, it was dark outside and light inside so all of the mosquitoes were attacking the windows and anywhere there was light. The staff said these were the type of mosquito that only lives one day. Still terrifying because there were so many of them (biblical amounts) and when we walked outside, we had to go through them. This is nature and not the venue's fault but be aware!

I was constantly up and down the stairs because dinner was upstairs and dancing was downstairs. 2. They also have specific rules about some of the antiques which can be difficult to comply with when you have people placing their wet cups on an antique table! It may be beneficial for them to maybe place some glass over the wood to preserve it better. Other than that the staff was helpful and made the event perfect for the bride and groom along with the wonderful coordinating staff, caterers, etc. 67/100 for the Review Challenge

One I asked for pink roses and didn't get them :( then I asked for the sunflowers all around I was told filler would be just inside the ribbon. I could've bought a 3/$12 at Publix baby breath the flowers and sunflowers and gotten more flowers. I also could've bought a heart chocolate and flower sponges at the dollar tree and done this. They are an amazing couple with an amazing company and amazing staff. Franco and Amy were so nice and super easy to work with. I felt like I always had a drink in my hand! I would turn around and there would be Amy with shots. And on my wedding day after the ceremony boy did I need them. Even when we didn't have a spirit or ran out they were on top of it. They supplied me with a bottle recommendation list that really helped me shop. Even in the pouring rain they didn't stop setting up and getting everything ready. They even tried marking arrangements to have them get the spirits before our event but I was to busy, but they did come to our venue the day before to look at set up and I met Franco and right out the gate he looked at me and said just relax. It caught me off guard but he could tell I was stressed. It was my wedding but he made me feel at ease. He was so nice and helpful. I knew between working with Amy on the menu and drink and then meeting Franco I had an amazing group of people working with me. The bar was a hit!!! My guests LOVED IT!!!! Amy coordinated the decor to match my theme the virtual menu was amazing!! It was a slide show of pictures of us. Outstanding service. By far the best. We scheduled a visit about a week after getting engaged and made the trip to see it in person, and the moment we arrived, we knew this was it. We didn't even bother looking at other venues after that. We chose their elopement and catering package for 20 guests and had our wedding on a Thursday, which was perfect for the intimate experience we wanted. Christina and Jeremy are wonderful hosts, and their daughter Ruby is the sweetest. They make you feel so welcome and truly care about the couples who get married there. The venue itself is beyond words; magical, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful forest and nature. Honestly, you don't need to do much decorating because the venue itself brings the magic to life. My husband and I are both from up north, so being surrounded by the pine trees made the day feel even more meaningful and nostalgic for us. We loved the different package options they offered. When we booked about a year ago, they didn't yet have the all-inclusive package, but knowing how attentive and thoughtful they are, I would absolutely recommend it because I'm sure they go above and beyond with every detail. On the day of our wedding, Jeremy was already ahead of everything, even monitoring the weather for us. He let us know there was a chance of rain and walked us through options just in case. We decided to trust our gut and move forward with the outdoor plan. In the end, it started to rain right after we finished dinner, and it actually became another sweet and memorable moment from our magical day.
