I usually come here just for an eyebrow wax. They're always able to fit me in within 5-10min of arriving. I love that!! My service is less than 10minutes total! What could be better than that? They make my eyebrows look great and match! They don't wax too many hairs off but they don't leave them bushy either. I guess they clean them up. Shape em. Somehow without me telling them, they know exactly what I want. Other places have totally butchered them, they didn't even match each other!! So glad I found this place! read more

The ladies here are awesome! I came in with acrylics and they took the time to soak them off to ensure the health of my natural nails. I ended up doing hard gel, so this is with the natural length of my nails which I was super happy about because shaping them so short can be tough! I asked for white tips with chrome and they look amazing. Would definitely recommend... they make sure you're happy with your nails, shape, color, etc as they're doing the process so you have the ability to speak up if you have any critiques. It was $90- which included acrylic removal/soak off, hard gel, French tips, and chrome. May seem expensive, but with all that they did I think it's worth it for the services! read more

This is my favorite nail salon in Maple Valley. I have tried 4 other ones here, and I have to say this one is the best! Call ahead to make sure there isn't a long wait, because they do not rush just because there are people waiting, which makes for a great experience when you are the one getting your toes or nails done. I have gotten polish, gel, and dip here. They have a great selection of colors also! read more

This is by far the best, most caring and detailed nail salon I've ever been to. I've been coming here now for over 10 years and it's a joy to have built relationships with these wonderful women while also getting to pamper myself. As a mama I don't get much time away but when I do get to come in, they always make sure I have everything I need, not to mention the vibe is always calming and peaceful. Always a pleasure to have Lan do my pedicure. I always call ahead for an appointment and request Lan. They all do a good job, lots of talk and laughs between them. All of the ladies seem to work well together. The stations are clean and offer comfortable massage chairs. If you don't call ahead the wait can be long. read more

So I came in here yesterday with my two other friends, it was a walk-in. They had available chairs for mani-pedis. My two other friends were not rushed at all. The last girl who helped do my nails, completely rushed through everything and ended up messing up my nails. The reason I'm most definitely sure why, is because a group of women came in not even halfway through and she forgot about me for a little bit. Probably better tips from them. But my other two friends got incredible treatment. I will NEVER EVER come back here. Your prices are bullshit especially if you're going to rush someone out!! read more

My wifey goes here all the time and her nails always look so good. They also always have a bowl of candy at the front, which makes it a lot easier for me to wait for her to be finished. The music that's playing inside is also always good, pairs great with the candy. I got a very masculine pedicure here and my feet look so good. 5/5 would come again. read more

I have gone here since I moved to the area with no issues. This past Tuesday I took my daughter in for a nail date since her birthday was the next day. Shortly after 2 people with 2 kids walked in, they were offered water, juice, and serviced a lot better than my daughter and I. The lady that did my feet didn't even say hi. She just asked what color. My daughter asked me if she could have juice but I told her it's ok, I'd buy some after we left as I felt awkward for even asking for something we were not offered but others were. I paid for a dip manicure and my dip was horrible. She didn't cut my cuticles or give me a manicure. I politely thanked them, tipped them and left. Mind you, I paid a total of $150 with tip. I rather just not return. As a paying customer & human being everyone should be treated equal in my opinion. read more

This has been in MV for 10 years and I had never seen it as it is hidden in the 4Corners mess. Tucked north of Fred Meyer this salon is open and was busy on Sundays. Friendly clinicians. i got a pedicure with my mom there today and both the ladies that did our toes were AMAZING! they took their time and were both so sweet and engaging! gave great massages and on my moms toes helped her with an ingrown toe nail and she left with no pain at all! highly recommend :) read more

I came in on a Sunday afternoon, got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Both services were fine and were done by the same technician. The quality is on point and the polish on both my hands and feet lasted for quite some time. They did have myself and another party wait about 20 minutes, it seemed that anyone coming in were all about 15-20 minutes delayed. They were quite busy and it seems the high volume and delayed times are normal so plan ahead! read more

Went to my regular place for some pampering. Much to my dismay, I saw a fellow patron leave a sub par Tip. Now, i'm not picky nor do I turn my nose up. However, as a regular I don't like to see this. Come on, after the ladies do your mani/pedi. You slip them two bucks? Maybe you expect them to exchange for Peso thats Rich. These ladies pull all the stop when it comes to a regular mani. I got a hand, neck and shoulder massage all included while I waited for my nails to dry. They also serve with a nice warm towel on my dry winter cuticles. Two bucks - I think NOT For a salon that commits to cleaning, disinfecting and going by the rules. Had one of the worst nail experiences here today. Pedicure was very short and not thorough, but the full set I got was atrocious... They were over 1/8 inch thick and uneven from side to side, the lady told me "no one will notice" and tried to play it off before having a 2nd lady basically redo most them and they're still mediocre at best but I was sick of being there. My cuticles are torn up, and it was less than pleasant... I definitely don't recommend! read more

I have been going to Kelly for over 10 years. I live in Spanaway and would never go anywhere but to Kelly. She is so talented it is amazing. My nails are noticed, complimented and asked Where do you go? I was at my hairdresser on Friday and another customer wanted to know where I had my nails done. She was thrilled as her good friend lives in Maple Valley and she is going to start going to Tip and Toe. Did grocery pickup after, the girl who brought out wanted to know Where to go? The nail technician that worked on my pedicure was wonderful! She did a reflexology on my feet. Never had that done before while getting a pedi. She did not rushed me at all and took her time to massage and paint my toes. Another added bonus was they used a hot stone at the end of the massage. The best part was it was only $24! I had been going to Bluewater Nails in Maple Valley for the last 7 years, and with the costs going up, and quality of service lacking - I have had a hard time finding a new location...... until now. I can now say after going to Tip and Toe the last 3 times, I will not be going back to Bluewater. Not only are the prices affordable, the but service is above and beyond. Well.....tried a new place for the heck of it. Not a fan. Pedicure was a waste. No massage really, no Wax dip, and the girl spent the whole time talking to coworkers instead of me. Very unwelcoming. Good service and good job. I had a regular French manicure and it lasted one week before it started falling apart without consideration to work and dishes. Here was my experience: I came in for a gel manicure and asked for a French tip design. I will say that the design looked nice, and it was the design that I requested. However, within 1.5 hours of leaving the salon, I noticed that the polish on one of my pinkies had chipped! Normally, I would go right back to the salon, so they could fix it. However, I was catching a flight. Thus, I was rushing around a bit afterwards to get to the airport on time, but I have gotten gel manicures many times before, and this is the first time it chipped so quickly. I came in with someone else, and she had even said she was concerned about her nails chipping because they only put one coat of polish. I guess I was case in point. I called and spoke with them; they requested pictures and took down my number. I did talk to a manager the next day about my experience. However, the manager reiterated multiple times that they do not offer any refunds. Normally, this would be fine, and I would go back in to get them fixed. However, I was only visiting Washington and visit sporadically (not even once per year). All she could offer was a discount or to work something out the next time I visit. I am certainly not hoping that anything will come of this, but I do hope they address this issue in the future so that other people's nails don't chip so quickly, especially because this salon is not cheap. With other nail salon options in the area and given my experience, I will likely not be back. I did give them 3 stars because they at least tried to address the issue (though not satisfactorily) and I did like my nail design. However, given the cost, I would rather go elsewhere in the future.
