The absolute worst service EVER!!! I decided to take my wife there for pedicures today, 5-7-21 and get her looking and feeling good to go out. At the same time I figured I would get a pedicure as well. After sitting in the water so long the water got cold, our people finally came over. Her guy had the tips of his hair dyed blond (don't know his name) and didn't talk to much to her. My person (didn't introduce herself) didn't really talk much to me either. I don't know what I was doing so my wife ordered us the $45 package. So my person finished cutting my nails and then disappeared with no word. After about 5 minutes I looked at my wife and asked if that was it. She said I guess so I started to reach down to put my shoes on and the lady came back with those weird make your own flip flops which I told her I didn't need since I thought I was done. She then told me no you need to go in the other room for a message. Ok but what about polish? I normally get clear but sometimes get crazy and go black. Well I guess that wasn't an option today. So I got the leg message which was strictly timed with a timer and then it went off and she was out of there. Hell my legs were still oily! I looked at the wife who was now next to me again and said OK guess I am done now and waited for her out front. She was done and I told her I will pay. We get out to the jeep and before I could even ask how hers was she said, look at this shitty job. Wow is all I can say. Just look at the pictures I am posting. Hell even I can paint her nails better than that!!! I felt like we were rushed and I saw why. My lady was also doing someone else's nails and also another pedicure on another room!!! So long story short, if you want to feel like cattle being pushed through a run and you want your nails to look worse than your husband can do........THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! Before anyone asks, I will ask you this. If YOU got the service we did would you go back in and ask them to fix their mistakes and possibly run the risk of getting more pissed off?! This is one of my go-to places in Greenville for a pedicure and foot/leg massage. The facility is big, they have a lot of employees, a lot of spa service options, and colors and nail polish brands to choose from. Wait time varies by day and time, but staff are always working hard to make sure their customers are happy. read more

New to the area and this place came highly recommended. Boy was I wrong. I went in for a regular pedicure and a dip manicure. When painting my nails for my toes, she painted it on like a child would and tried to clean it up after. Then when getting my dip manicure done, I asked for three dips because I know that they last way longer. She gave me attitude about the fact that it's not gonna look good, which I know it does if you do it right. Within four days they were cracks in the paint and several nails even started chipping. I went back literally four days after originally getting them done only to be met with attitude and blame, saying it was my wear and tear that caused it. Mind you I've been getting dip manicure and pedicures like this for years and it's not like I've changed careers in those years so I know for a fact it wasn't my wear and tear. My nails generally last for about a month and grow out before I even see any chips or cracks in the polish. When I go back to get them done, she says she doesn't see the cracks, which I can obviously see and then half asses a few of the nails, making them much thicker so that they bubble over than the rest because she does not take down the entire paint to redo them. While the decorations were beautiful & they had a variety of color selection, my friend & I came here for the first time a few days ago. We made appointments ahead of time for 3:10pm, we arrive, choose our colors & have a seat in the back for our pedicures. We sat there for an hour before being helped & we both watched at least two women walk in, get a pedicure & leave before either of us were helped. When my friend received her pedicure, the nail technician left her there with the fan on her feet and didn't give any instructions on when to get up. She eventually got up on her own and left. She was expecting to get a Deep Sea Pedicure ($59), as advertised on their website when we booked our appointments but instead received a basic pedicure even after asking the woman twice if she was receiving the correct thing. I got a mani/pedi (advertised online for $45) & I left paying $57 ... they need to fix their prices online instead of scamming people. read more

I wanted to like this place! Great environment and super great prices. However, I hate it when whomever is doing my nails answers phone calls during the service. It is unprofessional and it distracts him/her from doing a good job. I got gel polish, and it was bubbling even the first day. She did not paint the tips of the nails, which I thought should have been a "given." The sides of the nail lacked paint also. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. My mani-pedis are always fantastic - and the children's services are great too. A lot of places just throw some polish on for children's mani-pedis, but everything is done properly at Tippytoe. And nothing chips! I suggest you try Tippytoe and decide for yourself. read more

Went in looking to have sns dip done, with out asking she applied acrylic to my nails. When she was finished my nails had dark spots throughout the color and the tips she applied where not straight by any means. Within 24 hours my top coat was already chipping off. I went in the next day to see if someone could fix them. They just buffed my nails and put a top coat back on. The top coat had bubbles yet again. I just move from PR, I'm looking for a place that I could visit regularly. This definitely is not the place. I want to do pedi, full set manicure and wax removal in my face. The pedi was awful, didn't ask me which service I wanted. She start talking in their language with her coworker, they were talking about my nails and what I want. That's was rude because you can tell by their face they are talking about the client. The waxing lady refused to do my waxing because she think I have to wait longer to do it. Wedding manicure and pedicure gone TERRIBLE!! We went to Tipp-y-toe to get our manicure and pedicures for my daughter's wedding. First off when you walk in you see the nail rack with the color choices, and usually it's just regular polish and the gel is on the sample nails. Now they have the gel polish in front of the regular polish. There is no sign to indicate this. So my daughter and my 2 grandchildren and myself picking our colors not knowing it was gel (not what we wanted) and we headed to the back for pedicures. After we sat down the four people came out and started pedicures, at first they were all nice but were constantly trying to upsell to the $100 pedicure. Mind you we all got the plus pedicure which was $45. Unknowingly and not asked they used the gel polish. After pedicures we were moved to the front for manicures. I asked for a gel overlay with gel polish several times but the guy gave me acrylic full set. My youngest granddaughter who is seven waited 45 minutes to get a design on her nails. The guy who was doing my nails kept saying he'd do it but it needed to be payed for. Again mind you our bill was over $300. The desk girl said that the design was taken care of already but the guy refused to do it in the end. Not to mention one of her toes was messed up he put regular polish on top of her gel polish and didn't put a clear coat over it. At this point I was completely frustrated and told them I would take them elsewhere to get her design and toe fixed. After already having to listen to them argue back and fourth in a different language and the desk girl leaving the front twice crying because of what was said by the employees I was just ready to leave at this point. We normally always go here for pedicures but after this experience we will no longer Patronize this establishment. read more

The experience and service has significantly declined. The techs speed through mani and pedi services. They are very rough when cutting your cuticles. I can feel the sting when they spray a small amount of acetone on my nails to help quickly dry before applying the color. Today while getting my manicure the tech didn't even file my nails, he just began putting on the base coat. I had to stop him to remind him filing should be part of this service. I opted to get regular polish, which takes time to dry. I told him I needed 20 minutes, and told me NO 5. Needless to say I let my nails dry for 20 minutes. While I understand most nail techs are limited in their ability to speak and understand English, there are a few basic words one should know: soak off, pick out color, file down, and trim ... I have given them multiple opportunities to do better so now I will begin the daunting task of finding another nail salon in Greenville NC. Don't waste your money. read more

I really wanted to like this place! From the pictures online I thought it would be a good play to go since I have not been to a salon since last February. But my nails look bad!!! First , the man who did my nails did not want to do them and did not speak. The acrylic was clumpy and he cut my nail bed really bad. The polishing was bad as well! I am very disappointed with this nail salon. I got my nails done on Thursday, a gel fill in. On Friday my nail polish started to peel off. I went in tonight to get a color change and they told me I would have to pay to change the color. I shouldn't have to pay for a color change when the reason I need a color change is because the gel start to peel off. I went ahead and got the same color but the lady didn't file my nails or anything. No execution to make sure that my nails were nice looking or that I was satisfied. I honestly wouldn't recommend this shop only because they didn't pay attention to detail and didn't make me a happy customer. read more
