Dr. Noser and the hygienist's here are the best! I actually don't mind going to the dentist anymore.

"Range"of cost for root canal suggested by Dr prior to surgery was around $1200. Find it hard to believe that since the base cost of the root canal was $1644, the Dr didn't know this was a low estimate . Imagine my surprise on check out after what I can only describe as a friendly but painful procedure for the final bill to be $2450. Would never have done it had I had any idea. My fault for not being more pointed in questioning. LAST ROOT CANAL EVER! Add to the RC a new crown at $1200 plus and the economics suggest pull the tooth or get an implant which has lower risk of future problems.

Stay away unless out of pocket cost and insurance coverage don't matter to you. Dr. Campbell and…read morehis office have questionable business practices, and when I brought it up, they were dismissive and Dr. Campbell himself was very arrogant. The Christian persona and mission work he does apparently don't extend to his practice. Last year, I had a crown that fell off and my dentist recommended that I see Dr. Campbell to make sure there wasn't a problem with the root canal that Dr. Campbell had performed prior to the crown being put on. I was in a lot of pain, but when I contacted his office, I was told he was going out of town on a mission trip and they would not let me see the other doctor in the practice because I had originally seen Dr. Campbell. So I had to wait 24 days to see him, in pain the entire time. When I finally got in, they took x-rays (and refused to request the existing x-rays from my dentist). They then performed a CT before I even saw the doctor, but when I questioned this, I was brushed off and just told that the doctor would go over everything with me. When I finally saw Dr. Campbell, he looked at the x-rays only and told me that everything looked great. I specifically asked if he could tell everything from the x-ray and was told yes. When I asked why the CT was performed, he only then looked at it and just said again that everything was great. He then walked me to the front office, handed off my chart and left. It was then that I was informed that I owed $150 for the CT because insurance never covers them. I said that is not acceptable at all for several reasons. The first is I hadn't even seen the doctor and he hadn't looked at any x-rays to see if a CT was even warranted. Secondly, I should have been told that the office would like to do a CT scan, but that insurance wouldn't cover it, and asked if I would be okay with that. The fact that it was just done and I was told after the fact that it wasn't covered and hit with a large bill is very deceptive and even unethical. At this time, I asked to speak with Dr. Campbell to let him know that I couldn't believe that I was being charged and expressed that things should have been done differently. His response was that it was needed for diagnostic purposes. I replied and said at first you didn't even pull up the CT until I asked about it and had already told me that you could see everything from the x-rays. He said that is just the way our office does things. However, their own website says of the CT scan, "Dental Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient." Since the x-ray had not even been reviewed, they could not have known that they would be insufficient (when by Dr. Campbell's own words, they were sufficient), thus the CT scan should not have been performed. A few days later, I wrote Dr. Campbell a letter, expressing my disappointment in the way the entire thing was handled and his response was "Roger that, sorry to lose you as a patient. My standards are my standards which are very high apparently compared to your value in my expertise and your dental health." There are lots of good endodontists in the Houston area - find one that doesn't perform procedures that he knows will not be covered and are of questionable necessity without even bothering to talk to you about the financial impact of his practices on you. We all know that performing the CT did not cost him anywhere close to $150, but keeping that profit was more important to him than his patient.

They juggled some appointments around to fit us in right away because our dentist called ahead of time. The staff here are extremely professional and the assistants are very gentle and warm, which really help put my mind at ease (or as at ease as possible while you are anticipating certain doom). Dr. Mendez was very knowledgeable, confident and explained everything very clearly and reassured me that the root canal procedure would be painless. And that it was. They were very good about numbing me up and asked how I felt all along the way. What also helped was getting to watch Netflix with headphones on which helped drown out the drilling noise a bit, but also took my mind off what was happening. I waited for about half an hour to get inside, did the cone beam CT scan and get back to get numb. The procedure itself probably took about an hour after I numbing set in. Once Dr. Mendez was done, I think she was off to the next. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to talk as I was still laying there with the things keeping my mouth open. She did mention everything looked good and when she said it was done I felt a huge sigh of relief. Then the other staff member helped with a final x-ray, cleaning up and getting my temporary crown back on. She was great and also explained post-procedure items. All in all, I was extremely impressed and glad I came here. Here's to hoping I never have to come back!

Other than her, no one seemed to care about my comfort. and if you're a normal height man or a tall woman, you will be constantly told to watch for your head because everything is set up for very small people. When I sat in the chair (which was difficult because it is extremely low to the ground and I'm older), I told the assistant that the headrest was very uncomfortable. She said, "You'll get a pillow when you get treated." Then she almost forgot even that. After charging me more than twice what the Oral Surgeon charged for a conical x-ray, you would think they could afford adjustable chairs and headrests. Then the endodontist hurt me worse than I have ever been hurt in a dental office before. and I have been hurt a lot at the dentist. She was testing my other tooth and she told me it was a good thing it hurt because that meant that the tooth was alive. When examining the infected tooth to determine if it was loose, she was so rough that I still felt the effects the next day. Oh, and by the way, the oral surgeon determined the same thing without hurting me very much. I can only conclude that this endodontist doesn't care if she hurts you. I assume my dentist sent me to this endodontist because she uses holistic treatment. To hell with that. Next time I'm going to my old endodontist that was kind. And I'm reconsidering my present dentist for sending me there.

I'm not gonna go into details because it's too many; the receptionist sweet as pie. The dental assistant not so much the dentist horrible from the time I went to the back to the time I left was a horrible experience again too many details to add. I was referred by a friend of hers so I'm not gonna bash her too much just know that I don't recommend you to go to her!! I paid $500 out of pocket for the worst experience trust and believe it has nothing to do with the money!! I would have rather given somebody $700 with OK treatment than $500 of horrible treatment. So try her at your own risk just remember I warned you Hello.. Dr Ho Well of course your experience with me was a pleasant one. Regardless of how TERRIBLE my experience was, I WILL always always be TRUE TO WHO I AM! As mentioned in my review, Finances was never the issue. I would have paid $1000 for BETTER SERVICE. You are correct, I was advised two days prior to my appointment of the estimated out-of-pocket expense; Which was $500-$600. So I was actually prepared for worst case scenario. Boy, did I get worst case scenario... and it was not pertaining to funds! However m, you would like me to mention a LONG LIST OF ISSUES .. HERE'S JUST THE FIRST 10!! 1. No temperature taken (As stated on the door before you walk in) 2. Consult/treatment plan given (wrong patient) 3. You and the assistant obviously were having communication issues; in the middle of my procedure you left out ..only for a few seconds ( BUT STILL)you came back with the SAME GLOVES ON and continued with the procedure. 4. You applied the topical lidocaine and immediately began shooting me up.. DAMN can I get topically numb first? 5.Every time you reached for a tool from the assistant, you hit me in the nose with the dental explorer. 6. During the procedure, you were drilling to remove the infected pulp... NOT ONCE DID MY MOUTH GET SUCTIONED.. not to mention I tried to give you guys a hint.. I mean who wants to swallow bacteria and tooth shavings? 7. Your response after the treatment was complete.." all done my lady" Initially I was told that the tooth was so infected it may be a two appointment process, so before you walked out of the room I asked "hey are we done? do I have to come back"? and your reply was "no, I did it all today" HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT...? 8. I had gutta-percha residue in my mouth. Wasn't given the option to rinse. 9.No after care consultation!! do's and don'ts .. what to expect.. What to avoid.. How are you feeling ? Do you need a pain reliever ? Should I continue the antibiotics (since the tooth was SOOO INFECTED.. How long will this temporary filling last... ? I HAD TONS OF QUESTIONS!!! Hell, you/assistant didn't even wipe my face off!! Luckily, I went to the restroom and I was able to clean up myself up. So, Dr. Ho, Above is My TOP TEN just for starters!! I guess it all boils down to bedside manners!! I know the importance of Customer Service and or bedside manners It can make or break a business! 17 years of experience with business ownership I treat EVERY CLIENT of mine as if they were my last!! You came highly recommended to me and therefore I expected to have exceptional service ****CHECK OUT THE P

He said he did not have time to fill the cavity that day and I would have to wait a week to get it filled!! I got the filling which only took about 10 minutes, as they did not clean or check anything just put a filling in. Several day later was still in a lot of pain and went back to see him then he said I needed a root canal but they did not do that. I had to find another dentist that did this. Still in pain several days later I saw another dentist and they finally determined after a lot of drilling that I had a calcified canal and did not need the root canal. Lots of $$$$!! Then I had to see my Doctor and get penicillin for the infection and pain. Well I am VERY UNHAPPY with the care I received at Brawley Dental La Grange this poor attention to detail when filling my tooth. I was out over $300 with Brawley Dental Clinic to look at my tooth and fill it but not really check or fixing the problem which was an infection in addition to the missing filling, in addition all the money I was out for a root canal and crown that I did not need!!!! I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW NOT ONLY FOR THE POOR WORK BUT THE EXTREME COST THE BRAWLEY DENTAL CHARGES.
