It was originally $16 and some change, but she sold it to me for $14.56. I specifically asked if the pod was rechargeable, and she said yes. What she did not tell me was that I needed a separate charging base. She knew I needed the base but still sold me the pod without explaining that I would need additional equipment. She could have simply told me that the iJoy pod was $14.56 but required the charging base/full kit, and I could have decided whether I wanted to spend the extra money. When I came back into the store about the issue, she said, "I sold it because she said she only had $15," and then made a comment about me being able to buy it next time when I "have the money." For clarification, I NEVER said I only had $15. I asked what they had FOR $15. I was asking about my options, not announcing my financial situation. I would have decided for myself whether I wanted to spend more if I had been given the correct information upfront. The lack of transparency about the product was frustrating enough, but the unnecessary assumption about my finances made the experience even worse. Customers deserve accurate information about what they are purchasing without having their words twisted afterward.
