We got a quote to get the gearshift selector cable and the neutral safety switch replaced: $534.88 in labour and $1121.20 in parts plus HST. We said go ahead. Then, when they tried to replace the parts, THEY BROKE THE BOLT and said the only way to fix it is to pay additional $3000 to get the transmission replaced. We told them this was unacceptable so they said they'd just weld the broken bolt back together, without installing the parts. They said they couldn't return the parts so ended up charging us the full $1121.20 plus HST for the parts which we ended up taking home with us. Then, on top of that, they had the audacity to charge us $484.88 plus HST for labour, ie the original quote for REPLACING the parts minus a $50 discount, ie. THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE PARTS BUT CHARGED US FOR THAT WORK ANYHOW. This is absolutely outrageous. They should have charged us for the welding if anything which I cannot imagine being this expensive. Overall a terrible experience. I feel we've been taken advantage of.

I had previously called CAA (rip off), Visited Canadian Tire (double rip off) and even had a fleeting thought about going back to the dealership... HA!!!! (See my review of Islington Chrysler for more details). But when I called AG+R the gent (Eugene) I spoke with was friendly, helpful and gave a quick quote and timeline. I came in right before opening at 8am and they were already taking people in to get them assessed, quoted and into the queue so parts could be ordered and customers serviced promptly at opening. There were two prices for a replacement battery, acceptable and Canadian Tire Crazy (CTC). I opted for the more reasonable price, the battery was ordered and delivered within 15 minutes. $280 all in about 25 minutes later I was paid up and back in my car and on my way. Boom. Car is running great again, and I really appreciated how they tried their best to find an affordable quality option to get me on my way as quickly as possible. Look forward to taking my future business here as it's close to home and offer great service.

I called the last shop to verify the make an model of the filter that they had installed and it's the one still installed (ACDelco). I called Midas and asked what filter they had installed and their records showed Purolator. I wanted more than a refund this is ridiculous, and possibly fraudulent. If it was a mistake then the fact that they overbook so much that this can happen is ridiculous. I have and sent them the pictures clearly showing this is not a new filter, but I got a refund on services not provided.

I went in and confirmed in person and mentioned I had selected the "inspection" option on my appointment, and that I wanted to "wait for my vehicle". When I dropped it off they told me they couldn't do it while I waited (so it took ALL DAY). I had my tires swapped and they didn't do the inspection. When I asked about it they said to bring it back in a few weeks when it was less busy. When I called back to arrange, the lady on the phone was only interested in telling me they don't do inspections, even though it had been acknowledged by management already. She finally conceded and I was given a time to come. When I arrived I couldn't even get on the lot it was so packed, even though they told me to come at that time. While I was parked on the side of Danforth with my hazards on, waiting, the same lady came out to talk to me, so I said "I'd rather not argue with you" as I had no interest in going over it again. She then walked back to the lot and audibly called me an asshole to the manager, who was moving cars. When I confronted him about it he said he'd "talk to her". I asked for an apology and was told "I can't make another adult apologize". That goes for employees too I guess. He said he would call me back about the inspection and didn't. Wow is all I can say. Zero stars.

I get my…read moreseasonal tires changed from them, not only do they charge less than Canadian Tire / Wallmart etc, they do a 5 star job. they check for leaks, nails on all the tires(the ones coming off and the ones going in), cleans the wheel stub/hub, heck I saw one of the guy even cleaned the tire bolts! I worked at a tire shop in the distant past and we didn't use to do some of this stuff. If you ask them how much tread is left in your tire, they will give you an honest opinion and wouldn't try to sell you their tires if you don't need them.

Came here 1.5 years ago to get winter tires…read more Waiting area is nice but small. Waited there just over 2 hours. Seems like they like to cater to clients with up scale cars before anyone else. They lost my locking lug nut key and said they would replace it but that never happened. Would not recommend this place unless you have time and money to waste.
