I got my zebra shark done by him in 2023 and it's not raised at all. You can run your hand over it and not even feel the ink. He was so attentive to the details and anatomy that I mentioned were very important to me. When I went in 2023 I was of course nervous but going this time around I had full confidence I was leaving with a tattoo I would love. I got a hammer head done by him yesterday to mirror my other shark and again, it was perfect. He took so much care to make sure I was happy with the design and was very meticulously on my placement so I'd get the perfect tattoo. Today I have no swelling and it barely hurts, you can also just barely feel the tattoo itself. Just overall he's a great artist and the shop is full of kind and vibrant people. Every time I go it's a great experience. Absolutely would recommend him every single time

He would not listen when I was telling him where I wanted the exact piercing spot so kept marking it in the wrong place. Then to top it off pierced my ear with the needle sideways!!!! As pictured- the piercing right under the cuff. You can literally see the back of the earring from a front angle. I immediately removed the piercing and went somewhere else. Will definitely not be here again.

After 1-2wks my nipple piercings were embedding because the barbells were too short and my nostril piercing started to sink because of poor aftercare instructions/post too short. I reached out to Torrie and she switched me out for longer barbells (for free) and told me my nostril looked fine. Unfortunately, the barbells were still too short and my nostril wasnt getting any better. I lost confidence in Torrie and decided to get a 2nd opinion at different shop. I was switched out for more appropriate length starter jewlery and received better aftercare advice than what Torrie provided to me, which was spray the piercings 3-5x/day and this caused my piercings to dry out so much it caused irritation bumps. Torrie also never educated me on the need to downsize jewlery after 6 weeks. (Which is probably why she put in too small barbells) If you're not experienced with piercings I would not recommend getting pierced here. I'm rating Torrie a solid 1 since she did a great job on placement however, her aftercare instructions were not clear and I truly believe if I had not went to a different shop for a 2nd opinion my piercings would have rejected. Our tattoo artist was Patrick. He did amazing me and my girlfriend absolutely love our new tattoos. He answered all our questions kindly. He made sure we loved our tattoos before he started and we paid before they were even started so the price wouldn't be sprung at the end. The line work is excellent and very clean. Went here for one of my first small tattoos, simple lettering on the wrist. The entire staff looked like they were either on drugs or homeless. Yes, they have good prices but that is due to the fact that they give low end quality tattoos. I wouldn't advise anyone going here if you want a custom piece or anything of quality. read more

Tit 4 tat was a great experience! I got my tragus re pierced for $25, my piercer was very welcoming and patient as I had not eaten beforehand and had to come back. I was nervous for a moment about being pierced by a new piercer, but she did awesome and eased my anxiety. read more

The whole vibe in the shop was negative and unwelcoming. The woman behind the counter was RUDE and acted like we were beneath her and unworthy of her time. She helped others then finally came back to us and said the only person available wasn't there yet to just wait. About 30 minutes later a grungy almost homeless looking man walked in. The rude woman behind the counter said those ladies want to talk to you. We showed him the tattoo and he acted like he was doing us a favor even talking to us. He gave us an outrageous quote and said it would take several hours for each of us. None of us felt comfortable or welcome in the shop so we left and went to Love Child Tattoo. Love Child had incredible vibes the minute we walked in. So THANK YOU Anchor Tattoo & Piercing for being so unwelcoming and rude. Without those initial negative vibes we never would have discovered Love Child! I understand everyone has a bad day and maybe that day was a collective bad day for your shop. But you lost 4 customers that day. Not just for the simple dragonflies we wanted that day but for all the future work we all scheduled with Love Child. I really wanted to support an all female shop. But when we're talking about a tattoo that will be on my body for life, the vibe and the way you talk to people is important.

I purchased a kit from a reputable source which included literally everything needed to perform the installation. After some time describing the unit I was informed by (didn't get her name, let's just refer to her as Karen) that it was illegal in FL to perform such installations. I thanked her for her time and hopped on the interweb and was unable to find the "law". I called back and asked for the Statute/law that it would be violating. Karen was unable to cite such a law. I stated that if the piercer was uncomfortable performing the installation that I was fine with that - I would just find another place, said "Have a good day," and terminated the call. Shortly after, I received a call from Karen/Anchor with the sole intent of fussing at me and arguing. I stated I did not want to argue w/her and that I would just find another place. There are literally dozens of tattoo studios in this area. She proceeded to raise her voice and stated "You called my work and said this and that..." "Who are you" "What is your purpose". Frankly, I don't owe Karen an answer and would have dropped this entirely. What really irked me was her complete lack of professionalism by calling me back and griping at me. Toxic to say the least. Maybe she was having a bad day. I don't really care. You simply do NOT call a customer back with some childish grudge because YOU were not able to prove a point by making up arbitrary laws. I would give 0 stars but that's not an option. If they have such problems with a simple telephone request I can't help but wonder how "professional" the piercings and tattoos are performed. I don't want the artists punished but maybe they should consider for whom they are working. If anyone at Anchor reads this and before you ask: No, I will NOT remove this review. Your customers need to know. This was single-handedly the WORST experience I've ever had with ANY "customer focused" business.

The artist Dani and her father made this by far the worst experience i've ever had with a tattoo. Her father raised his voice, insulted my partner telling her "i could find multiple penises in your tattoos" after explaining to him that his daughter tattooed a penis for a butterfly wing. Let me add that I asked multiple people to take a look at it to make sure im not crazy. They all told me they see a penis without me having to hint at it.
