I am not an extremely vain person, but I am all for basic grooming. Because a true gentleman will make an effort to look good not only for himself but out of consideration for others who will encounter and see him (whether they like it or not) as he goes about his day. There is no excuse to be someone so unkempt, you become an assault to the senses. One of the basics of proper grooming is to make sure you get a good haircut regularly. It doesn't matter if you like to wear your hair long, or short, or if you're into the man-bun look. The most important thing is to have your head of hair regularly maintained by a barber or a stylists. Call me old-school by I prefer a good old barbershop. The one I frequent is Titan 22, at Two Parkade in BGC. Conveniently located near my office, it's a basketball shop that doubles as a barbershop, It has a vintage feel to it which is always a nice and relaxing atmosphere everytime I come over for a quick trim over lunch.
It's no fuss, no "your hair looks dry, gusto niyo ng hair treament?" side talk. Just honest-to-goodness male hair grooming that ends with a nice warm towel over your face and a quick back rub. You don't only look good after but feel good as well. It's P200 well-spent. But if you want the complete package, get the Titan special - -that's a haircut, shave, and a scalp massage all for P400. They also provide other services like a shampoo session, full body dry massage, and hair coloring if you're into that. Indeed Titan is a staple for every well-groomed gentleman. A special shoutout to Leo my barber. You're awesome buddy! read more
